He was injured in a friendly against Hibs helping both teams prepare for a season in very unusual circumstances during a global pandemic. It looks like he and Aberdeen had hoped he would get a decent move soon. I think a little sympathy is no bad thing.Quote:

Nothing against him but it seems strange to be sending out best wishes to an opposition team's player just because he's going to be out of action for a few months.
If he had some life threatening illness, or had been sold to Hearts, I could maybe understand it.
I hope more Aberdeen and rangers and Celtc players get injured.
Another way of looking at it is if Aberdeen, Killie, Motherwell, et al were firing on full cylinders someone other the stickies might pinch second spot.
In fact a fairly workmanlike Dundee Utd with dubious time-wasting tactics pinched a League title as everyone was taking points from each other.
They’ll get humped on Saturday with or without Cosgrove. And hopefully they get humped every week after that.

Makes it even less likely Aberdeen will get their ridiculous valuation of him. Was it £4M they were quoting? Means he can't score goals for a few months.
