I used to get great kebabs in the place across the road from Middletons on Easter Road.
I don't know if it's the same guy that has the place, but he used to make his own donners so that he knew exactly where the meat came from.
Asda sell a brand called ' Crucials ' sauce which may be what you are looking for.
Check their website for their range and stockists
Agreed
There's a good bit munching in a large doner from topkapi
Pretty sure most large doners are around £8 now. (proper kebab houses)
There & kebab mahal Edinburgh's top 2 IMO
The one in Tolcross Brougham St (used to be decent years ago & was well worth a pit stop on the way home.) Might be shut nowadays though.
There's a book by a guy called Kenny McGovern called the takeaway secret or something similar. It has really good recipes for kebab shop sauces etc. It's on amazon.
Best Kebab Roast Tatties say no more!!
I love doner meat.but dont actualy know what it is. Lips and ********s is what the guy from work says,😂
I remember having a pub conversation many years ago when some trumpet was going on about how he never ate hot dogs because the meat was crap - pig scrotum, pigeons' lips and stuff like that in them.
We got years worth of fun laughing at him for thinking that pigeons had lips though.
Dunno about where to buy it, but this popped up on my Facebook one day so I had to go and try to make it. It's a bit of a faff, and I modified it a bit, but it actually turned out pretty good :aok:

It's the chilli sauce that makes or breaks it, and we still don't know where to buy it!
Kebab meat: processed, reformed, heavily spiced mixed meat, fat laden ******. Should only ever be eaten when pished;-).
I steer clear of it these days and just go for chicken in my kebab.
