You're not far from me, so I suspect you experienced in the unbelievable wind speeds too (I'm about 2 miles form the place in South Lanarkshire where the 102mph was recorded!).

18 feet of fencing torn to shreds 🤬 delivery of a new fence on Monday so me and my Brother are going to be busy, a few ridge tiles came off the roof too so my Brother is going to repair that so not all bad thankfully.

Was speaking to the a national timber company this morning and between closing up on Thursday night and opening again Saturday morning they had sold all their stock of 3k fence posts online....god knows how many slats and panels on top of that!

I had a power cut down here in Wiltshire. Seems localised. Fair confused me when I came back from rugby (cancelled).

All back up and running. Hearing a tree down over power lines.
