Incredible belief, luck, drive and effort by Wales to win that match. They had no right to hold out there, but full marks to them.
Without Bale, they are a thoroughly average team but he gives them belief beyond their own individual abilities and makes them a force against anyone.
On paper we’re pretty comparable (although they have a world class player in attack that we don’t). But that’s them been at two Euros on the trot (getting to the semi final and last 16) and now a World Cup so they’re doing something we’re not because we can only dream of that.Quote:
