Anyone EVER seen the heavyweight champion of the world leading a mass Karaoke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You have to love Fury, wins the heavyweight title then bangs out the karaoke classics.
😂😂😂 only Tyson Fury could pull that off, what a legend. The karaoke king 😂😂
Fury v AJ has to happen.
Wilder said before the fight Furys fists were like pillows! Filled with lead mate 😀
I don’t see the point in fury wilder 3 now .. AJ it is all he needs to cement his legacy..
Interesting in the post match the was asked the question and shook his head, they are going for the 3rd fight by question would be what happens to Dillon whyte and why are the dodging AJ?
The big question for any Fury opponent is how the hell do you prepare to fight him? In the 1st Wilder fight he ducked, slipped, weaved and countered of the back foot. Last night he used his big pawing jab to completely nulify a monster puncher and then was the aggressor throughout. He, to put it bluntly, absolutely battered Wilder.
I remember years ago watching Fury scrape a very dubious points decision against John McDermott and I thought he was just another hype job who would be found out. He totally changed things up for the rematch and scored a TKO win. He had ups and downs since then but he has grown as a fighter and is undoubtedly the best in the division right now. There are exciting fights to be made; Joshua, Usyk, Whyte, Hunter and a few others. If he stays healthy I wouldn't bet against him in any of those fights. He's phenomenally good.
Only Fury could get a sing a long going after smashing Wilder in a title fight and getting Bob Arum and Frank Warren to join in - never been his biggest fan and some of the things he has come out with in the past are dubious to say the least but you cannot question his Boxing skills - the best technical boxer in that division bar none - only thing left for him now is to unify the division and fight AJ
Wilder has 30 days to invoke a rematch
now that would be a silly idea
Just watched it, managed to go to bed get up and not know the result.
WOW, Fury just continues to surprise me, what a fighter, in any style. :top marks
He would beat anyone now, he's the best out there.:top marks
Reading there that the Saudis have already contacted Fury to fight there next.
Great fight. If anyone struggled for a stream and wants one for future reference I've got one I watch most ufc and boxing events on each time so happy to PM.
Fury is absolutely devastating at that weight and fight style. The only problem for Fury now is motivating himself and keeping the dark clouds away. Im not convinced he is all that excited about an AJ fight. I think he knows he beats him easy.
Financially it wouldn't. Boxing wise probably not either as he may have a wait to have a title fight again. He is a puncher - and may get lucky...
All that said, I think you mean he'd get bashed up again - and if so I agree 100%. Fury is clearly a vastly superior boxer than Wilder.
Interestingly, just ahead of the bell the Bookies had Wilder fave - 10/11 vs. evens for Fury. Today a re-match would be Fury 1/4 and Wilder 3/1.
I'm 45 and I loved boxing in the 80s into 90s I grew up watching Mike Tyson, Tucker, Holy field, Spinks etc.
I will ask the folk here your opinion on the best boxers of last few years as the Fury fight is the only one I have watched in years. I kind of think the guys who I watched would destroy most of the ones about just now. Thoughts?
In my day of watching it the fight that had me excited was Spinks v Tyson this had the making of Tyson being in trouble. Tyson destroyed Spinks I never noticed watching live but looking at it years later the fear in Spinks was in his face and eyes.
looks like the trilogy is on, both wilder and fury happy for it to take place in the new LA raiders 70k stadium, june or july, although i think it's quite laughable wilder blaming the weight of his 'costume' for weakening his legs,it probably didn't help with fury deliberately trying to crush him to death, obviously the ear injury would have a huge affect on his balance as well, i'm sure fury knew what he was doing with the punches to the back of wilders head, wilder claims the referee warned him(wilder) pre-fight that he would disqualify him if he was punching the back of fury's bonce, true or not, dunno, but i'l want the same guy to win the 3rd fight that i wanted to win on sunday =Wilder, but i'm quite sure fury will win that one as well.
P.S. as for borh 'costumes' utter super cringeness, but i wouldn't tell either to their faces 😁
Time to get back into it mate. A Hibs fan is currently PFP a top 10 in the world. I also loved that era but there is some fantastic boxers around at the moment. And in Tyson Fury I believe that we have a heavyweight that would beat most of the 80s ones including Mike Tyson (though I expect many would disagree).
Fury could easily walk away from the sport undefeated and with all the gold. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Mark Breland sacked by Wilder. Poor show.
Very poor from Wilder. He might have just saved him from serious injury. He was as easy to hit as a punching bag.
imo, mike tyson COULD and SHOULD have been thee best heavyweight ever
muhammad ali thought the same
Anyone ever been to Vegas for a boxing show? Tempted to go for Fury vs Wilder 3 in July as suggested by Top Rank in an interview yesterday. The only thing is one of the boxing forums suggest that the cheapest tickets will double from $500 to $1000.
Some pals were in Vegas for the Fury fight last week. They picked up tickets for $500 (face value), very good seats but not floor seats. Big fights tend not to sell out there, unlike over here but they’re no cheap. Bars in the strip were charging $100 to get in to watch the fight on TV.
hi
kinda! i guess would be my answer, though prob not what you are looking for.My brother and |I went to vegas for the first time in 2014.the mgm. They had a boxing ring at the entrance and were premoting a fight( to this day i have no idea whom were fighting) 2-3 days later there was a huge crowd and my brother and i went over to see what was happening..Unsure if it was common but it was one of the big fan fare things when the fighters made there entrance for premotional work..(again near the check in area)..i rember seeing oscar de la hoya though (ot a couple of pics)
a day of so later was the weight in and well my brother and i went and sat in the mgm arena though we got bored though watching pre weigh in activities but it was an experince for sure.
On a side note.im into saving money and unsure if you ve been to vegas before but there is a wonderful las vegas money saving thread on money saving expert site that may be of use to you.
kind regards

The Gb Olympic qualifiers have been on bbc red button today. Could be a look into what’s to come in the future.
I know a few like your boxing so what's the thoughts on Tyson making a comeback ( charity rounds only)
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/52530283
Pretty certain those punches would kill me!
He was a washed up has-been when loosing to Lewis in 2002. Even more so when embarrassed by Williams & McBride a couple of years later. He’s now also a self confessed complete stoner. He should stick to making a fool of himself in films and leave the sweet science to the young ones.
I've watched a YouTube video of his ring entrance to the music Time4SumAksion. I think it was his first fight out of jail. Watching Tyson come through the crowds with his entourage and that music playing is spine tingling.

Good piece on how good he could have been on the bbc website and how true were Frank Sinatra's words to him?

I don't think Tyson has any ambitions to actually fight again as such. That would be madness. The training videos look slick but that characterised his last few fights, he could give you 3 rounds but if his opponent wasn't out of there at that point then Tyson had nothing left. An exhibition or 2 probably appeals to him and his fanbase.
I find Tyson and his redemption somewhat troubling. At his best there is no doubt he was a phenomenal talent, he was ferocious but skilful. However whilst everyone deserves a second chance and the right to rehabilitation I find his new image as a lovable rogue a bit unsettling. People should remember what he is and the impact his actions had on another person.
Agreed. The current Tyson love-in is doing my head in. In his prime he was phenomenal. Unfortunately his prime was too short lived for him to be anywhere near top 5 heavyweights. His behaviour inside and outside the ring was despicable at times. I’ve no idea how the likes of Hollyfield & Lewis can be doing with him.
Anyone seen fast Eddies plan to put a boxing centre in his dad's back garden?
Ambitious stuff.

Hearn is saying that Fury and Joshua have agreed a 2 fight deal for 2021
Is that dependant on Fury beating Wilder again.
Just watched I am Ali on sky sports. I’m biased as I think he’s the greatest sportsman of all time, but even if you don’t it’s well worth watching. I know here’s been more up to date films about Ali, but that one was good.
Anyone watching tonight?
Babic made easy work on Shawndell Williams. He looked ok but is light for a heavyweight these days.
Kongo vs Clay in the 5th round at the minute. Kongo nicking then rounds but has been good so far.
Fancy Katie taylor to improve from her last fight against Persoon but it will be an interesting one.
Whyte should deal with Povetkin. And I’m keen to see how Whyte looks with the big weight loss. Think he needed it tho as always gassed in last few fights.
While typing this, Clay has had to really hang on in the 5th. Looked like the fight was over 30 seconds ago.

I've been watching the boxing the last few weeks and there have been some pretty decent fights
I don't think Babic is that great but you better believe I will tune in to watch him anytime he's on as he just goes for it and will either spark someone or be knocked out himself early doors
Kongo V Clay was a decent fight
If Taylor just sticks to boxing then I have a feeling she could box Persoons head off all day but think she may get dragged into another war
Whyte is getting Povetkin at the right time, thought he was lucky to get a draw against Hunter but for the first few rounds I think he will still be pretty dangerous and isn't to be overlooked
I take my hat off to Whyte for taking the fight but he's off his heid for doing it
Victor Loughlin has been on the Buckie tonight with his scoring in a couple of fights
And that's why that was a silly fight to take
take that
Unbelievable. Was strolling it until that punch. The beauty of heavyweight boxing.

I’m stunned.
I’ve just watched the fight back. Whyte is going to be gutted at that ko, he was in complete control and just got really sloppy. The only thing he had to do to win was avoid being knocked out, just cover up and let your opponent miss, chances to knock Povetkin out would’ve come his way with patience. He needs to be much more savvy in the ring.
The irony was that pre-fight he was talking about the need to not make silly mistakes because at that level you get punished.
Not sure if it was complacency from being in complete control up until that punch, or if he just made a mistake, but he proved his point.
Lee McGregor fighting on Wednesday’s MTK bill. Not seen much about it. Is it a live opponent?
Josh Taylor will defend his WBA & IBF super-lightweight titles against Apinun Khongsong on Sept 26th at BT Sport studios in London.
Good performance by McGregor, he's huge at that weight, still want the Kash Farooq rematch though
Ramirez wins a close fight, Postol is still a tricky customer, if Ramirez tries to fight JT like that then there will only be one winner, still think the Prograis fight was harder than Ramirez will be
Ramirez claiming he wants to fight in the UK, we shall see
Be interested to see how JT comes through a similar environment against Khongsong in a few weeks. Fully back him to do the business comfortably
Just seen Ramirez has been ordered to defend one of his belts against Caterall who’s been mandatory for ages.
Really hope that doesn’t put the brakes on this fight
Josh fight on Saturday. He's looking in tip top shape. Think he'll be going all out for an impressive win.
Apparently Mayweather is going to fight some youtuber
What's the chances the cards will be adjusted to try get it all finished before 10pm?
Ringwalk timing I saw was around 9pm but wondered if they'll make more effort to make sure it fits in for the pubs.
JT’s fight is down on SkyBet for a 10.30 start. That kinda matches last weeks BT fight card.

1/33 josh taylor, yikes...khongsong is 9/1
Been a good night of boxing so far.
Body shot
Well...
Next!
Have seen plenty of fighters stopped with body shots but have never in all my years of watching boxing seen a fighter in so much discomfort for such a long period after the punch.
One of the things about body shots is that if they land in such a way that they impact on the aorta they can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure. It's more common in shots that hit around the liver but it can happen across the torso.
I remember a few years back when Jose Luis Castillo lost to Ricky Hatton due to a body punch he said post fight that very suddenly he felt light headed and dizzy. The body punch also broke his ribs but he said he could have battled through the pain of that, it was the feeling faint and struggling to stand up that finished him. Of course Castillo was well shot by that point and maybe just wanted a way out to pick up his pay packet.
Maybe the guy did take a dive or milk it but I think that's doing both JT and his opponent a disservice. It was a solid body shot and there are a number of reasons why it could have caused so much distress.
Fight of the year

Willy Hutchison first round stoppage, looks good this kid. Good combinations decent hand speed. Impressed thats 13-0 now.
I’m not a big fan of the shows Frank Warren has been putting together for some time. Look at the state of Gorman.
Massive fight this weekend for the all the Lightweight marbles.
Lomachenko v Lopez. No UK provider has picked it up, so it’s £9.99 on FiteTV.
Can’t wait.
Boxing on sky at the moment. Ward's eyebrow hanging off after a head clash. Has to be said, pretty effing disgusting
