Stick on for 3rd apparently 😂

One European game in. If this is the squad that was designed to manage the impact of the midweeks, then it's going to be a lot of fun!
Great win for the Steel men. Amazing what a team playing as a team with total commitment can manage. We are miles away from that level of energy and effort
Another dent in their title challenge!
Hows the gorgie gimps doing?

Aberdeen look decent. Clear style of play, as well as good recruitment. 3rd for them this season I think.
Goal score for hearts, I did...
Watched Motherwell v Hearts earlier.
I thought Motherwell were excellent and played exactly like I'd like to see Hibs play against them.
Right from the start they pressed the Hearts players and fought for every ball.
If it wasn't for Craig Gordon it could have been six or seven.
First time I'd seen Zach Robinson who never gave their defence a second's peace.
I didn't realise Lennon Miller had just turned 18 today. He looks a player.
And Paul McGinn has a new lease of life.
Killie really struggling with the European and league games it seems. Happens to every Scottish team. We toiled with it last season.
One fan needing 3-0 for a million on the super 6 score predictor, TBF should be more than 2, Liverpool very strong at home.
While I've never been convinced that playing two games a week should be an insurmountable burden for footballers, the fact the European qualifiers come so early may, I concede, mske the switch in styles tricky to manage.
Personally I'd scrap the Euro spot for fifth place, possibly even fourth. I think the biggest challenge our teams face is not the number of games but that they're just not good enough. If we're being honest nobody thinks that 5th-placed season under LJ merited a European spot.
I think the travel is often forgotten about as well. 2 games a week when you’re only travelling a couple of hours by coach is completely different to airports, flying for (potentially) several hours, strange locations/food, possibly a few timezones of a difference, then repeating that journey in reverse to immediately prepare for a domestic fixture must take its toll, as I’m sure it did for Hibs last year. I also doubt that non OF teams are flying in first class, luxury hotels etc either.
For some reason there is also some kind of psychological barrier that playing Thursday/Sunday is a tougher turnaround that wed/sat. It can certainly put pressure on the European team if their competitors are consistently turning out decent results on a Saturday that they’re trying to match or better on a Sunday.
