In the area I’m from in Donegal we have some beautiful beaches , one of them in particular that I regularly go too had one of the worst tragic events in Irish history that happened in 1943 which is still talked about today.
There was a Documentary made on it that apparently won a few awards , I’m not saying it’s good . I will let you be the judge of that .
Hopefully it’s alright to show it as I thought it might interest some you . Anyhow this is ‘ BALLYMANUS ‘ ….. Apologies about the breaks in it .

Strike: An Uncivil War on Netflix is a great, if difficult watch.
Just finished the second series of Parole on the iPlayer, continues to be interesting stuff, what a huge responsibility Parole Board members have.
Was about to post about this, the whole process is fascinating to me. I’m doing a degree in Criminology and Law love every program like this. It definitely seems we have the same taste in tv, I noticed you’ve posted recently about a few series that you’ve watched. For example the Greek college program. I would be grateful if you had any other suggestions that I might have missed, especially if they’ve been on in other countries.
Wondered if you’d watched Accused : innocent or Guilty. Fascinating insight into the American justice system I saw it on channel 5 but realised it was series 5 so went back to my fire stick to watch from the start.
Children of the Cult on STV Player, moving documentary about the sexual exploitation of kids in The Rajneesh Cult, amazing what people can get away with. 😥
Watch a domestic abuse thing on Netflix yesterday think it was originally on C5 Jesus it was heartbreaking poor guy took an incredible amount, in-front of his children as well wasn't easy to watch the clips

Tsunami 2004: The day the wave hit, quite a moving watch.
Chasing lightening was quite a good watch, about a former up and coming UFC fighter and the robbery of a Securitas depo, I used to work in a cash centre for a major bank so was interesting to see cctv footage and how protocols etc failed as can remember a lot of changes happening after this particular robbery
Just finished the stv crime series “Until I kill you”
It’s a true story that I wasn’t aware of until I watched. Quite dark at times but I’d recommend a watch
