Good to see Midnight Run get a mention. A very underrated film.

Just watched ep1 of Landscapers, not sure what to make of it yet.
The Responder episode 1 :aok:
Finished The Tourist over a couple of nights this week. We both really enjoyed it (probably my partner more than me as she is a bit of a Jamie Dornan fan). I wasn’t too sure about all the stuff with the Russian(?) woman, thought that was all a bit unnecessary and they could have got to the same ending point from a different means utilising other characters.
We’ve moved on to The Puppet Master and are 2 episodes in. Like other folk have mentioned, I’m amazed that folk were so easily taken in by him. Why does MI5 need me to provide their ‘agent’ vast sums of money for *my* witness protection programme would be top of my list of questions if I was one of the student victims. The dad of the female student has missed his calling in life. He should have been a cop or, dare I say it, an MI5 agent :faf:
It’s so amazing the way they were taken in (and as someone says, they don’t seem gullible), that if this was a fictional TV show, I’d be saying “come on, this is a bit unbelievable, isn’t it?”
Watched the first two episodes of Always Sunny new season. Thought it was time to put the show down based on the trailer for the season and them going to Ireland.
First two episodes are very good though. Clever and on point, particularly the second episode.
I’m surprised no Ozark watchers on here. Great TV, halfway through series 4.
Halfway through season 3 of The Sinner, not as good as the first 2 seasons but, still some dark stuff.
Last few episodes of Boba Fett were pretty good.
If anyone hasn't seen Reacher on Prime, so much better than the tiny Tom Cruise Reacher. Close to the books and much more like the physical Jack Reacher.
This is going to hurt.
It's on the BBC, excellent viewing.
Watched the new Louis Theroux on Sunday.
It's amazing that literally every right wing nutter interviewed is an utter loser.
Just finished No Return on Stv player, pretty dire stuff.
I see it is getting absolutely slated as being misogynistic.
Have to say, I’ve been to see Adam Kay numerous times over the years, read the book and been to see the stage show of This is Going to Hurt a couple of times and it didn’t jump out me as being misogynistic in itself (pointing out the failings of the healthcare system, including instances of misogyny, yes).
I’m not a woman, though. Nor a medical professional, as quite a few doctors, nurses and midwives seem to be finding it “triggering” too.
