I liked the the look of that from the trailer but always end up forgetting about it. Will give it a go next week.

Not sure if mentioned but This Is England box set available on 4 online or whatever they call it. I would strongly advise to watch the movie first though. Excellent series and acting but pretty grim in places but true to to the storyline. Highly recommended.
Peaky blinders just starting. Cillian Murphy ! :love ya!:
Really disappointed with the new season of The Walking Dead. Not sure if it's a different director but it's been a complete bore fest.
Rating have plunged in the U.S so probably will get pulled soon story is all over the place and what’s with the unlimited bullets they seem to have found! Need to put an end to this bit and probably go back on the road to make it interesting again.
Shame about the kitty though.
I've not enjoyed the walking dead for awhile mainly because none of the main cast are likeable. I really couldn't care less who Negan kills next and I'll probably not watch another episode.
I'm really enjoying mindhunter on Netflix. Fictional series based on the FBI agents that got the ball rolling on profiling using information obtained from interviewing serial killers.
Negan seems to have been away his holidays in the last couple of eps!
Just re-watched last nights Peaky Blinders. I'm no often speechless but they last ten minutes!
It's been out for a long time but I just caught up with the final two series of bbc The line of duty. What a fantastic cop drama. Very underrated.
I absolutely love LoD - one of the BBC's best drama's IMO - it's up there with Luther.
I've just started The Punisher on Netflix - it's fantastic so far - dark, an accurate reflection of some of the current trauma in the US just now, and I love John Berthnal's take on the character.
Anyone watched The OA?
Just watched the programme on Bill Shankly on BBCi player. Probably one of the most moving documentaries I've ever viewed.
The man was a god. His humanity and social concience was unbelievable. If you haven't seen it I strongly recommend you do. Trust me, it'll be well worth it.

The punisher was ****ing awesome.
We started watching ‘The Sinner’ on Netflix last night and we are gripped. Near enough the first thing we both said when I came in tonight was that we can’t wait to watch a few more episodes tonight.
It has Jessica Biel in it and it has a feel to it that is not too dissimilar to ‘The Missing’.
The first episode is very gory. I've seen comments that it shocked even hardcore horror fans but I wouldn't go that far. It certainly isn't up there with the 'Hostel' films, for example, in terms of gore or scariness. There's parts of the other episodes that we've watched so far that I've found a bit difficult to watch from a completely different perspective in terms of some of the themes.
As I said in my earlier post, there is definitely a feel of 'The Missing' to it in the sense that it is really quite dark, almost sinister.
Been watching American Gods.
Absolutely loved it. Hope there's another season .
Anyone watched Babylon Berlin? I'm hearing good things about this period drama set in the Golden 20's and leading up the the rise of the Nazis.
I've been watching it.
Wasn't sure about the first series. Sometimes subtitled programmes are a bit more difficult to get into. But the second series has just started and I'm warming to the characters.
I do like the political backdrop. I don't always get the cultural references though.... they'll be more familiar to you.
It's reputedly one of the most expensive TV dramas ever made.
And Brian Ferry has his mitts all over it [emoji16]
That confirms what I'm hearing about it. My best mate who's a history teacher and rarely watches TV has only ever heaped praise like this on "Deadwood" before. I think it was the most expensive production of a series outside the US. No need for subtitles for me so I'll probably give it a whack.
I'm returning to Episode 1 series 1 of the Sopranos tonight. You can't beat it :top marks
I’m going to start watching Star Trek Discovery next. Has anyone watched it?
Can anyone suggest any decent comedy series on Netflix. Been watching Peaky Blinders and need something to watch afterwards that will lift the darkness before heading for bed.
anyone watched/watching

:greengrin
Attenborough doing his normal depressing final episode, where the true *******ness of the human race is exposed. Plastics in the oceans.
I'm late to this party but I've just started watching Peaky Blinders.
Really enjoying it so far.
Just discovered Quarry a sky at****ic show pretty decent so far.
Has anyone seen generation war on Netflix? It's set in nazi Germany and follows 5 friends during the war and take very different paths
I've just finished the 2nd season now and can't wait for the 3rd. Like you mention the political backdrop is fascinating, I just wish it was set 10 years previously. Think they missed a trick there and the chance to show how national socialism grew out of the ashes of the 1st world war. I watch too much tv and normally see the twists in storylines long before they happen but they've managed to surprise me a few times. I also recognise a lot of the filming locations and think the computer animation to recreate them to how they looked before Berlin got flattened are excellent.
I've just started another German series on Netflix called "Dark". It's got a similar feel to "Stranger Things" about it and I'm really enjoying it.
I'm watching dark, really enjoying it but my head is hurting trying to understand it at times, not sure if it's the watching it with subtitles, the storyline or a combination of both, will be easier for you with understanding the German and not having to read:faf:
Not a TV series as such but just watched that Oasis documentary 'Supersonic' on iplayer and thought it was really good and really well made.
Good insight into a mad few years from the beginning of the band right into their pomp at Knebworth. As Noel Gallagher said in the doc, they should have vanished into a puff of air after knebworth and their legacy would have been tenfold.
Finally sat down to watch The Punisher. Bloody hell it's brilliant. And bloody.
Started watching Colony season 2 , Was actually out January 2017 totally forgot all about it , Superb
Four episodes into series 3 of Gammorah, and theve somehow managed to keep up the brutality of the first two series. Cant wait to batter through the rest of it over the next couple days.
Don't be slagging Charlotte though.
Watched the first couple of eps of McMafia, quite promising so far.
I’m late to it but recorded Peaky Blinders on bbc4. Excellent stuff - crashed through the first 2 series in no time.
Anyone watching McMafia?decent first couple of episodes.
Watched the first episode of Derry Girls earlier tonight on catchup on All 4 - I enjoyed it a lot with laughs a plenty, and looks promising. First episode repeated Monday night and 2nd episode on Thursday.
