Netflix and Prime give you a longer trial period and are more established and have a bigger selection of programmes. Prime also have a lot of subscribers who bought the product for faster delivery and ended up with a different tv package.Quote:

Certain shows benefit from the one per week approach. Disney obviously find they get more engagement in the media with that model. If you look at the end of season 2 of the Mandalorian, the slower build paid off amazingly well. That amazing surprise would have been spoiled for most viewers had the full 10 episodes been available to view on day 1. And the social media buzz would have dissipated more quickly.Quote:

The example of Better Call Saul.... that's not a Netflix show. It's produced by AMC and shown on AMC in the US. They show one episode per week in the traditional model and that's why Netflix have to do the same, when showing it in non US territories.
I think Prime's approach is pretty good. They released 3 episodes up front of "The Boys" and then it goes to one per week after that. Best of both worlds.
Enjoyed ‘Stay Close’ on Netflix.

Four lives, watched plenty documentaries about Steven Port, makes a change seeing the story told from the families viewpoints.
About to finish ‘how to make it in America’. Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you liked entourage (same makers) then might be for you - same short and sharp episodes with easy watching.

I’m just catching up with the second series of the Bay. I’d completely forgot about it and just remembered when I saw series 3 starting tonight. It’s really good for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet.
