That’s where McGrath will play I imagine

I guess ultimately Vente was always here in vain.
I rate McGrath highly , think he’s a quality player. Manneh even though we haven’t seen much of him I like what I did see . Gray seems to think with a good pre-season we will see the best of him , also have Joe coming back too so competition for places is good . We might not get Triantis back though if we do it would be tough as it stands to pick a better midfield from the other teams .
Yip he managed 1820 minutes for Aberdeen last season and tbh I didn't expect he'd play for Aberdeen again after his injury. I thought he'd have a pre-season with us and be ready to go. The fact he played a decent amount of minutes towards the end of the season is a bonus.
Levitt on the form he showed in 2025 is a first pick in the middle of the park.

🚨⚪️🟢 Benjamin Nygren to Celtic, here we go! Deal done with Nordsjælland for €1.5m transfer fee.
Contract until June 2029 plus option until 2030.
When he was at Dundee Utd there was plenty of debating on their forum about what was his actual best position in midfield in was he better playing deeper like a DM or further forward, something I still not sure about though when mentioning our midfield I left him out as I had him as playing deeper which is were I’d have Triantis and then a CM in Manneh with McGrath as the AM . It will be interesting to see what happens with Levitt as he’s approaching the last year of his contract too .
I liked the look of manneh against rangers
I think we can sometimes get bogged down with if a player is a DM, box to box, attacking midfielder etc.
For me it was the balance/shape we played that benefitted Levitt. Him and Triantis could go and get on it, they could also drift further forward knowing we have 3 defenders behind them.
I think aswell as the shape suiting him, he seemed to really understand what SDG wanted from him in the middle. He looked physically stronger and fitter, was much more aggressive and then on the ball showed his quality
I was in Colombia in January and met a group of Odense fans who all really rated Manneh from his time there. That alone has been enough to make me think he will be a good player for us!
I think the way Gray's been speaking about him not being up to speed and taking time to adjust to the Scottish game he seems to think that with a good pre-season we should see a improved player which is probably fair enough…
