I always argue you don't have to like the action of abortion or the outcome, you can argue about what is a reasonable 'cut off' for when it should be permitted and you can argue that all other avenues of support should be offered first; however it is still something that is a necessity in some cases and a choice in others and as such should be available in a safe and supportive environment.

Just to be clear on this, by going after Lawrence vs Texas 2003 Clarence Thomas is calling for a judgement on whether or not gay sex should be illegal. Organs Hungary or new Poland hasn’t even gone that far. That’s the company the GOP is keeping. The issue with US presidential elections is you aren't just voting for a 4 or 8 year period, you are voting for them potentially having the ability to shape the future of the country for decades, particularly in the case of Trump who was able to rebalance the ideology of the Supreme Court.
This ruling would never have happened had Clinton been the 45th US President. For all her many faults she would have secured a liberal, relatively speaking, majority among Supreme Court justices for a generation.
