For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not believe in 2025 that absolutely everyone is welcome to follow Rangers whether at Ibrox or away, then Rangers is not the club for you, and you should disassociate yourself with the club immediately.
Further, the club has also been charged by UEFA for the throwing of objects at the home match with Fenerbahce.
This is becoming a regular occurrence, not just at Rangers matches, but across stadia in Scotland. Indeed, our players and staff were targeted with missiles at Parkhead on Sunday.
Focusing on Ibrox, however, there was a widely-reported incident in the January Old Firm game, whilst at the recent game with Motherwell, one of our own supporters was hit and injured by an object thrown towards the away end. And now, the club faces a sanction for the actions of an individual last Thursday night.
This senseless and criminal behaviour has no place in sport, nor in society. Again, if you think such behaviour is acceptable, you are not welcome at Rangers matches.
The club will also face a UEFA sanction for the blocking of passageways at the Fenerbahce match. Supporters are urged to follow the advice of stewards and police at all matches, and to take their own seat to avoid this issue occurring again.
Lastly, and despite clear warnings to the contrary, pyrotechnics were used by two individuals following Sunday’s Old Firm victory at Parkhead.
This runs the risk of an additional 800 of our supporters being unable to attend a match in the latter stages of the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden, in addition to the 500 that will already miss out as a result of the use of pyrotechnics.
All of the above behaviours will have consequences for the club, and either directly or indirectly, the club’s supporters.
Rangers as a club will stand alongside our supporters, and advocate for their rights and their ability to support the team in the most passionate ways possible within the confines of the law and the appropriate regulations.
However, the club also calls on all reasonable supporters to wholeheartedly reject any behaviour which brings the name of Rangers into disrepute, and to assist the club by challenging any issues which will lead to the club being punished further by the relevant authorities.”

Their statement is a PR exercise that they were forced into because UEFA actually apply rules on unacceptable behaviour.
The wording was misleading as regards the views of their club and the overall fanbase.
Also, they always try to downplay the numbers involved and create a false narrative of the majority of their fans being so open minded and disapproving of the behaviour/attitudes of an alleged 'minority'.

It’s there to pick holes at of course, but in this instance I think Rangers deserve credit for a strongly worded statement. The tone and some of the wording used suggests they are genuinely angry at a section of their support and they’re not trying to defend them in any way.

While some people want to celebrate diversity and create an inclusive environment for all, it feels as though the majority group, those who share traditional Christian and Protestant beliefs, has been left out or, worse, sidelined.
Examples of this is when the club design and the release an orange strip. This kit, which has zero involvement in the club colours is only produced for one reason only. Finance. Why you ask? The Orange colour, associated historically with the Protestant community, seemed to be more of a financial decision rather than a meaningful tribute to the heritage and identity of a large section of the Rangers fanbase which for financial gain but show contempt for the very organisation you expolit.
This issue extends beyond just merchandise. In the 1980s, church rallies and Christian celebrations were once part of the fabric of this club. They represented the values that many supporters hold dear. Yet, these traditions were gradually removed, and the Christian ethos was pushed to the margins of the Rangers experience. Today, the very organization that represents those values, the Orange Order, Church of Scotland etc is often vilified or ignored—while the club’s commercial decisions seem to be more in tune with the values of other minority groups.
It is with this in mind that I urge you, the directors of Rangers Football Club, to revisit your commitment to the motto “Everyone and Anyone.” The essence of this motto should apply to all supporters, not just to those whose views or identities align with current trends or political ideologies. It is essential for the club to embrace inclusivity that goes beyond selective promotion of certain groups. We must all be included, not just a few.
This is not a call to diminish or silence the voices of minority groups, but rather to ensure that the club remains a place where all supporters, regardless of their faith or background, feel equally valued. It is crucial that Rangers maintains its identity as a football club for everyone and anyone, staying true to the spirit of its loyal supporters—many of whom have deep-rooted Christian values and connections to the Protestant tradition.
Therefore, I respectfully ask you to reconsider the current trajectory and review how the club can be more inclusive of all groups, including those who hold Christian and Protestant values.
