I think it's always good to try and get better than you already have currently. It's not always possible but if we think Paulsen is someone who can come in and make us better than we should take it, even if it turns out he's similar to Smith it at least might keep him honest and on top of his game knowing he's there waiting. Similar to next season I'd like to see Bowie make the step up into more of a focal point of our attack consistently, but if someone offered me the chance to go get another proven goalscorer then he has to perform to keep his space.
