Why would they?

I just hope that everybody that hitched their wagon to the 'they're definitely getting liquidated' horse are not going to get suicidal if things go smoothly for the yams in Lithuania today.
My opinion all along has been; If the Big L happens, it happens. They'll most likely start a new club in a lower league and spend years suffering. If not, they'll still be in a lower league than us and probably stay there for a couple of seasons, having lost any big spending advantage they had. If/when they do come back up, Butcher will have had time to sort our team problems out and we'll give them a good humping.
All good, IMHO
Would you swap their demise for a Hibs win tonight ?, i would.
Spot on. A derby win against them means more than any other game it's just a shame we have such a poor record in them.. I want them wounded but not dead. Whether we like it or not we need them and they need us. Ask Old Firms fans they all tell you they are missing their hatefest
Watching NewHuns getting beat in a wee cup final by RR yesterday and the bitter reaction from the The Rangers fans is all part of their punishment. They still think they've a divine right to spend big, wear their 5 stars and compete with Celtic. The reality is very different :greengrin
Is it really just a co-incidence that on the same day that Sergey has 'Gone Sailing', Bajillions and CWG seem to have dissapeared as well?
UBIG was not one of Vlad's assets it was an investment company with shareholders. The shares Hearts shares held by UBIG where not Vlad's assets but the assets of UBIG. As with UKIO where he was major shareholders the court ruling on freezing his assets does not affect them either. The UKIO or UBIG shares or assets held or they have a claim over are not Vlad's and therefore not frozen. Best hope hope is the colling off period ore general delay pushes BDO to the big L.
Liquidated or not im indifferent now. I wanted them relegated. I got what I wanted. Anything else....mehh
The Yams will never die. They will always be around like a bad smell. The only reason Celtic are missing the Huns is they have little competition in Scotland and win most of the trophies.
Our position is very different. I could quite happily live with a few years without the Huns, Yams, Celtic, Dons etc etc if it greatly increased Hibs chances of winning trophies. Dons are doing the right thing, making the most of this unique period.
teams that live within their means get relegated, they got relegated due to their own poor performance no one relegated them as a punishment. They have spent over 50 mil, won cups had great memories, taken no responsibility and now try to be portrayed as victims, sorry but IMHO they have got away with it, I want more!
In an ideal world.... Hahaearts get relagated for at least a season, more importantly, Hibs get fixed and if/when they do come back up , we are vastly better side and own them for years to come.
I personally think we have unfinished business with them, and will feel like we have missed a great chance to be the bigger better side.
UBIG'S assets were frozen.

The assets of Ukio Banko Investicine Grupe, or UBIG, through which Romanov controls 79 percent of Hearts in Edinburgh, were blocked yesterday in the course of a lawsuit against the Russian-born investor and his sister, Olga Goncaruk, Kaunas District Court said today on its website.
Think our attentions should be focused on making sure we dont
go down with them :cb
Your quote just happend to be the one i clicked on.
Wanted them bust at 9am and after 1 agreement in Lithuania your happy to see them survive. You've not been the only one. Did you not speak to your mate in the last 12 months or only since the first agreement.
I'm at the wind up, but a lot of people now accepting a lesser hearts rather than a dead Hearts....just to show face on here i think
