None of the early games really caught my eye to be honest, I'm wilting for some of the later ones.

Currently watching syracuse v Penn st until the alabama game comes on.
On the early evidence, we appear to be a penalty-prone offense this year but we look promising in both the run and pass.
Gardner looks very comfortable, Toussaint is solid and Gallon has caught well so far. Encouraging but we are playing Central Michigan...
Gave up watching the game - couldn't find a decent stream which would run smoothly.
We're 35-6 up at half-time so not exactly a competition sadly.
Guys! What about Tebow?!
Just watched the Oregan game with my mate (Oregan alumni). Got quite boring very quickly, too easy.
Virginia Tech coming back at Bama a little...
4th quarter just getting underway in Ann Arbor - 56-6 to Michigan...

Read this interesting article on the amazing Grantland site. What is everyone's view on a London based franchise? Personally I wouldn't root for them as I feel I've devoted too much emotionally to the Jets over the past decade.

I don't see it becoming a reality in all honesty - too many logistical problems and imagine the cost and time-zone adjustments for the team having to travel to the USA every other weekend...
Having said that, if it DID happen, I'd get behind them - London being my local city would mean I'd at least have a degree of connection to any such team which played here and would happily cheer on them against any of the NFL teams with the exception of New England...
Like you AH, I've put too much into the Patriots and despite no longer living in New England, I still feel a connection to the Pats despite the distance to Foxborough.
However, the thought of being able to go to Wembley every other week during the season and watch live NFL games is an appealing prospect, so long as they don't price it to a degree which is unattainable for the normal fans. They get away with the higher prices for the one off games but they'd need to drop the price if it were to become a more regular thing.
I would go a long to see them play but I would be a Pats fan still. I couldnt change team. I have no idea what people do when their team moves!
Just finished watching the Georgia @ Clemson great and it was a cracker, didn't know it was about 4 and a half hours long though :dizzy:
Week 1 guys, Where's the Hype? :partyhibb
Personally, I'm struggling to get excited a little so far. Having said that, I'm driving back to Scotland on Friday and my new laptop arrives at work tomorrow so it's not top of my imminent excitement list :greengrin
I was pleased to read that Gronk was back in full training yesterday though - simmering excitement, swelling just beneath the surface :greengrin
Got a family celebration over the weekend however I have game pass loaded on to the iPhone for NFL on the go
Less of the Gronk chat. I'm hoping this boy Sudfeld becomes the Patsies number one TE for the foreseeable future
Has Rex Ryan finally seen the light? It's ****ing bright enough...

Brady Quinn looked pretty good for us in preseason, the only reason he was released is our other veteran was even better. Unbelievable that the Jets have allowed all this QB uncertainty go right up to the final week. The offense cant be properly prepared.
Only three days left till it all starts!
TSSF: If your looking for a decent place to watch the Notre Dame game v Michigan according to the NFL forum you can watch all the ND games on the link provided on this thread.,

May have missed this in the thread but did anyone see jameis winston in his first game for FSU 25-27 passing with four passing TD and one running.
Tonight is the night guys! Football is BACK! I am off down the pub for a few cheeky beers then back for Kick off. :agree:
