We hear a lot about " box to box" midfielders and goal scoring midfielders etc....

As a Tornadoes era sentimentalist I think he was good enough to be around that squad and subsequently he was the only one that got near Des Bremner for me.....

Walking up to the ground lit up by the drench floodlighting it was like approaching an alien spaceship from the darkness full of hope excitement and expectation

The games had a totally different feel no matter the opposition or our domestic league position we felt and believed we were unbeatable as we faced a new fresh challenge

The better the opposition the better but we had some really good players ourselves in truth

As soon as the game kicked off the Hibs players were right in their faces probably something the continentals weren’t used to
