Edinburgh in talks to sign hooker Dylan Richardson. Currently got Cherry, Ashman, Harrison. I understand Cherry will be away but even so, you’d think Glasgow would be the better option if he is to come to Scotland no?
Edinburgh need a bit of experience there with Cherry moving on. Harrison looked ok there on Friday evening but is largely untested, and Ashman is really hot or cold: certainly his lineouts are awful!

Great game and brilliant result from Edinburgh. For once they took their chances and stuck in when they needed too. I often think they are playing within themselves but not today they put it all on the line
I keep going back and forth over Townsend. On one hand, there is plenty of evidence that he can’t get us over some of the mental blocks (ie Ireland) and we’re still capable of the occasional brain fart (Italy last 6 nations), but on the other hand, maybe this is just where Scotland are in the pecking order of international rugby, good enough to give everyone a game but not consistent enough to do anything really of note.Quote:
