Looks like they've just quoted bbc article. I'd say the sun are probably spot on, they normally are with our stuff.

I honestly think he helped turn our season around when he came off the bench at St M & scored. At that point we had gone 5 games without a win & we scored more goals in the 2nd half at Paisley than we had in those prior 5 games. I recognise he's not the finished article but he's a genuine 6 yard box finisher & they're a valuable species. Someone suggested a loan to either of the Dundee clubs. That could work but I see no sense in him going out on loan at a lower level. He's still only 21 by the way, I really hope he makes it.

I'd imagine it's to let S****horpe know they aren't getting a transfer fee out of us for signing him and we aren't interested in getting involved in a dispute like that.

I think if the player and the club can sort out his contract status quickly and he is free to sign we will go back to him.

Paul Heckingbottom says he expects a deal for Chris Maxwell to be completed. Deal for Funso Ojo is “old news” and “dead”. Still looking for a couple more including a midfielder. Says he has looked at Dylan McGeough but won’t make a move for him (Ryan Maher, STV Sport).

Bit disappointing we wouldn’t go for him if he was available. Got to trust Hecky to find someone who will fit into his team better.
