Agree re Auchterarder. One of my favourites and I am playing there twice in May in opens.
Others I have played last year and enjoyed are West Lothian, Crail, Aberdour, Dunbar, Longniddry and Baberton.

I use this Dave. As you know I’ve been known for an away day or two

Its free but I pay the yearly fee and it gives you a calendar option to search for any given day.
Good luck.
Anyone want a game at ladybank this year let me know
I believe they’ve got a new greenkeeper in as of this season and he’s made a lot of changes. I forget which ‘decent’ course it was he’s come from but my mate who is a member there was fairly excited about the guy coming in and what he’s be doing for the course.
It’s a course I enjoy anyway, but 16 gets me every time.
Had another lesson today hopefully another step forward with a few tweaks implemented just need to remember it on the course tomorrow!
It’s time to get a few reps in. Haven’t had a club in my hand since early November. :greengrin
I’ll ensconce myself on the Range up at Kingsfield until they get off the mats at Harburn.
Due a visit to Kingsbarns mid April so better get the finger out.
Just off the Range. . First time I’ve had a club in my hand since early November. It wasn’t pretty😬
Dunbar today in great condition.
Chilly wind though.
Min Woo Lee’s caddie is a Jambo.
Hope he puts it in the water on 17

Proposal to introduce balls which can't fly so far at the Open by 2026.
Thoughts? It's presumably not long before 400-yard drives become perfectly feasible for top players so a lot of courses simply won't present any sort of challenge.
Happy with a 87 at Deer Park yesterday.
Still playing short as it’s still in a semi winter mode so will be back to reality once it changes!
New driver is decent but off the tee is still my weak point another lesson in a couple of weeks.
Anyone going to the Hibs golf day?
It’s an annual event:
