Kimpioka looks a level above the rest of the St Johnstone players. Good 1st touch and composed when in possession. Hopefully St Johnstone can find a way back into the game but it looks more likely Hearts will get a 2nd.
2-0. That's enough for me.
Actually, offside? Still think I've had enough watching that. St Johnstone never getting anything out of the game
That Devlin is a dirty ……..
If they get to HT then maybe opportunity for change for second half... hoping for a draw. Its too many draws that kill you in this league
FT
Man u 0 Bournemouth 3
Leicester City 0 Wolves 3
Everton 0 Chelsea 0
Fulham 0 Southampton 0
Man u were lucky to get away with three 😅
According to Livescore the hearts ultras have not attended as a protest against the board.
Hearts announced a sell-out for the game in the build up to the fixture but behind the goals in the Gorgie Stand where the Ultras are housed sat empty.
The decision to stay away is understood to be a message aimed at the direction of the club as well as the underperformance on the field
Aw poor wee lambs, I think it was because they were not allowed into Santas grotto to sit on his knee
Pen St Johnstone
Has to be a penalty.

6- Shankland, Heartz

Boo.
Bugger. That’s a decent finish.
Don’t rate spittal but seems to have scored a few big goals for them. One to keep an eye on on Thursday
Not sure that's a foul but again silly by Sidibi
Not sure I rate him much to be honest

Damn
I think hearts will win this but St Johnstone certainly arnt out the game at all

Forster continuing where he left off midweek! [emoji1787]
The atmosphere at Tyne is something else eh?
Pool one up.
Shooting in practice for Mo Salah and Liverpool
Hearts have kick started a glorious revival and will now go on the challenge Aberdeen and Rangers for 2nd place.
St Johnstone worst team in the league , think they’re going down with County in the playoffs. Hertz far from impressive either .
We’ll just have to pump them on Boxing Day
3-1 Liverpool. Fabulous football.
'What a result for the hosts!' according to the Beeb updates. Must be the same guy who stated they were 'on the brink of making history' at 2-1 up against Petroclub.
They are excellent. I was at Anfield last week and they more than matched Fulham even though they had 10 men for most of the match. If Postocoglou doesn’t start varying his tactics Spurs will sack him.
For anyone who watched the Hearts game how did they play ?
Great score for Bournemouth [emoji523]

They were decent enough. Created plenty chances but St Johnstones defending was criminal at times. The young boy, Wilson looks a good player.
Hearts look ropey at the back as well though and I don't doubt we’ll cause them problems.
Going to be another tight one on Thursday.
Agreed. I thought St Johnstone were awful to be honest. Considering they were playing a team struggling for confidence and a home crowd itching to turn on them they did nothing to make any of that work for them. Their penalty was sheer luck and they never really looked like scoring outside it.
Watched the first half and some of the second thought they were good in the first half passed the ball well and quite sharp. Look very vulnerable defensively. Good attacking moves few crosses in didn’t create loads of chances. Boy Draama wee bit lucky not to be pulled up for very rash challenge in first couple of mins
Spurs hit on the break
4-1 Salah.
Another goal and that's Spurs deid as a club 🧐
Plenty injuries but Spurs are horrific defensively.
Postecoglou in real bother.
Liverpool looking like certainties for the title now, so good defensively and such an attacking threat.
Spurs dead as a team
Spurs getting absolutely horsed here , If Liverpool want this could be 7 or 8 no problem at all
I don't think any team in the world gets the better of Liverpool when they're at their best. Absolutely sublime.
Spurs defence an absolute shambles.
Best and most energetic Hearts have played in their last 4 games but still ran out of fuel after an hour.
Have watched those 4 matches. They look tired and the derby will be their 6th game in 19 days which is a punishing schedule for a small club.
In those 4 games Penrice, Devlin and Gordon have IMO been Hearts best players with Spittal their most dangerous.
Baningime and Halkett were missing again today so have to be doubts for Thursday.
Even if Halkett plays he looks slow and would be fair game for Youan or Boyle on the ground.
As for Baningime, good player but hasn't played since the 1st December due to another knee injury and my gut feeling is the game will come too early for him.
Up front for them Shankland did the square root of **** all today with young Wilson more of a threat all game.
Hibs have to be favourites and our best performance of the season yesterday has enhanced that belief in me.
Their crowd will demand effort on Boxing Day but if the game is level after 70 minutes their players tired bodies and minds could kick in and see Hibs take over.
Could end a draw with them hanging on but i'm hopeful we push for and get a win.
Spurs defence isn't great but the movement of Liverpool would test any team in the world, Spurs have been poor today and have games like this in the locker, they play far too open at times.
Liverpool are looking pretty special this season. more trophies heading to Anfield I reckon.
Thanks for info re Hearts. Disappointed to hear that they were quite decent. Not that it would have the slightest bearing on the derby however they’d played today.
Spurs no longer ended as a club.
Spurs get a goal back, cracking goal.
Our odds of winning there shouldn't be based on historical factors. Different team, different manager, different staff, different tactics, different form, different way of approaching the game.... etc. The past should have no baring on the game.
I'm quite happy for them to be considered favourites. But if we do what we have been doing the past several games. We'll be ruthless enough to beat them.

Bonkers game
And another 3-5 now, another good goal too.
