Twitter have now set a couple of Trump videos so they can't be liked, retweeted or commented on. Soon as he's out on his arse he's getting kicked off that.
NBC reporting that the police presence you see on the steps of the Capitol are the extent of the police presense there. One rioter told the reporter "If you don't hear our voices today then you'll hear our muskets tomorrow".
This is only going to get worse, isn't it?
I’ve just seen the bbc news headlines and was amused that one of the first protestors up the senate stairs had the crack of his erse hanging out of the back of his trackies.
Perhaps it's the visual element of seeing hundreds of people storming a government building that I find shocking, I didn't expect him to go quietly but seeing those scenes tonight is something you expect from some undemocratic basket case, not "the land of the free".
