I'm really worried about Falkirk, we currently have the second highest rate in the country.
I can see us staying in level 4 beyond the end of the month.

There's more....
I've just had a look at the report and the number you've quoted is based on eligible care home residents. The comparable figure to Scotland would be measuring against all older adult care home residents.
As of 31st January the percentage of all older care home residents vaccinated in England is actually 81.3%.
Therefore percentage of all older care home residents vaccinated
Scotland 98%
England 81%
Wales 75%
An illustration that while England and Wales have been good at pumping the vaccine on a mass scale they may have an issue getting the vaccine to all individuals in the most vulnerable group.

Booking only. Any premises not complying gets 1 strike, a 2nd offence sees you closed indefinitely as long as restrictions remain in place. Doesn't matter how many people pile into the city, if the pubs are fully booked then they'll have nowhere to go.
The vast majority of the hospitality industry was exceptionally good at complying with restrictions last time. They will be even more so this time.
Better just to laugh along with him

Whilst the 'offered' figure is clearly being put forward to make things looks better is it really indicative of a vaccine campaign that is failing?
If I go into a care home with 100 people and vaccinate 95 of them, 3 refuse and a doctor advises the other 2 shouldn't be vaccinated have I failed because only 95% have been vaccinated? I've offered the vaccine to 100% of residents and there has been 95% uptake. Both figures are valid.
Obviously if I count the 5 that refused in my overall figure of number of people who have been vaccinated that changes things but as far as I'm aware there's no suggestion that is happening.
What do you think about the booking systems.. I hated it and in my group of friends we decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle once the novelty worn off.
This is where I fear for hospitality, furlough ends, pubs open up but the restrictions make it impossible for ends to meet so end up closing for good.
There was a Facebook page posted a list of Edinburgh pubs not reopening a couple of weeks ago. Think there were about 15 in total.
Of the pubs I deal with I think 2 have closed the doors for good and a couple of the bigger groups won't be reopening all their sites.
Things could get tricky for those who haven't been vaccinated........

Sweden is developing a digital vaccine certificate to enable people to show they have been inoculated.
The country’s health minister Lena Hallengren said the certificate could be used as a passport to “travel abroad on holiday or meet a loved one”.
The government is hoping to get the certificates ready by June.
Digitalisation Minister Anders Ygeman said businesses including restaurants could ask customers to prove they have been vaccinated, The Local reports.
Sweden has recorded more than 580,000 cases and 11,939 deaths.
The move comes a day after Denmark announced a similar certificate. The government there announced it would have an online registry that would be used to check someone’s vaccination status. This is a temporary measure until a long-term solution is established.
The World Health Organisation has considered the idea of digital certificates in the past but said last month that it opposed them being used as a requirement for travel.
I haven’t been anywhere since this whole thing started as I wanted to play it safe and do the right thing as much as possible but my parents who are far more at risk than me have been away to Tenerife twice and are counting down the days till flights start again.
