You can take anyone's word you want, I'll take the fact that he's failed to establish himself at a better level, for club or country as proof enough that he's not the second coming. As I have already said, he's a decent player in our league and if he's learned a bit of restraint he'll be even better.

I suppose that is possible , I think it would be need to be the case as I really can’t see us paying £1.5m up front . Another thing I was thinking on is if it is going to cost as much as that even with add -ons etc . Is there any logic to taking in two different targets at say £600k or £700k would make us even stronger as opposed to buying Triantis even though he is quality? .Quote:

From what I recall of porteous was he had a mistake in him but never his fault. He'd berate teammates for misplaced passes or not collecting a pass from him if he'd mistimed/misplaced said pass
