Just finished the 2nd series of After Life. It's every bit as good as the 1st.
He's divisive but Gervais is a genius. It takes real skill to move you from crying with laughter to just crying in the space of one sentence.
Just watched Extraction on Netflix.
Bit like an old school action movie, really good non stop violence!

I watched Extraction on Saturday night. Very entertaining and edge of the seat stuff throughout.
With loads more content being flung up on various streaming platforms, I happened across the latest take on the Dracula story (BBCiPlayer)
Well worth the 4&1/2 hours, it remains loyal to Stoker’s source material while offering a few new twists and turns (it does go a bit Dr Who but given the writers, that’s hardly unexpected)
Claes Bang in the title role is pitch perfect (similar to Tom Hardy as The Kray brothers) ably supported by Dolly Wells in the Van Helsing role.
I’m not normally fussed for the ‘horror’ genre but it’s so much more than that.
I have watched the first 7 episodes. I cant put my finger on it but it is not doing it for me. I will watch it though and next season.Quote:
