Players to wear yellow laces to support gambling advert ban - BBC Sport
good on them i hope it takes off, ridiculous the amount of adverts for gambling :agree:
Forest Green Rovers are supporting the wearing of yellow laces as part of a campaign to stop gambling advertising and sponsorship in football.
League One Rovers are playing an FA Cup first-round tie away at South Shields on Saturday, live on the BBC.
Club owner Dale Vince told BBC Sport gambling in football "is uncontrolled, quite frankly, it's running away"
Match fixtures - clubs taking part in bold:
Glasgow City vs Hibernian (SWPL Cup Semi Finals)
£30 on Aberdeen @ 29/20
good chance of Hibs winning now :cb:greengrin
Double on Dumbarton and Raith to score 2+ at 2.6/1.
Also got 4 fold same bet with Cove (last night), Edinburgh, Raith and Montrose at 15/1.
Lots of lower league Scottish games ripe for 2.5+ goals too
Done a daft FA cup bet BTTS and Win, ones in bold I've got to win.
AFC Fylde v Gillingham
Ebbsfleet v Halifax
Solihull Moors v Hartlepool
Chippenham v Lincoln City
Buxton v Methyr
Small stake, big return = No chance.
Don't know why Halifax odds so big considering they are in a higher league.
I do a small stake on every game in the scottish championship down to league 2 to have over 1.5 goals, 2 goals off last week and about 3 weeks ago there was only one game with under 2 goals and funny enough it was Dumbarton who won 1-0 at home to Bonnyrigg.
That bet will come in a few times a season.
