A company called the Park Hotel Ayrshire Ltd set up with Billy Bowie (who has still not been registered as a director at the club) as the sole director. Should the hotel be split from the club at any point and the club left with the toxic debt then it could not go to a company that shares a director with the club. No logical explanation forthcoming for this, it all seems very suspect.
The rumour going round is this is the reason he has promised to invest in the club.
It's been a number of years since I worked in the insolvency trade, so I'm not totally sure. Re-reading the rules, it appears that they have to be present or represented at the meeting in order for that abstention to count as a no. If they are deciding to abstain, it sounds as if they will have a representative there, which will hopefully scupper things. I live in hope
Text from my source
"Tense atmosphere this morning. Nobody is saying much. There's no smiles and no impression of confidence"
Creditors meeting at 10.00 A M ?
There's a Hibby who posts on KB under the name Wee Robbo and is treated I suppose as a Jambo plaything. This is his message to them this morning - " All the best lads, as I said from the start Ediniburgh and the Scottish game as a whole needs a strong Hearts. So good luck." I hope he is not a Hibsnetter ....... total embarrassment.
If UBIG abstain does that count as a yes or no vote?
No Lithuanian representatives present at the meeting according to Brian McLaughlin
i feel sick....
There's another hibee that post over on KB like that. Their both an embarrassment
