Mens first team, womens team, U18s team.

All three managers and players quoting an improved work ethic, squad togetherness and never-say-die attitude.

That's a step change improvement in all levels at the club. The sign of a high-performing football department.

Mackay has to be given credit for that. The footballing side of the club seems to be running as well as I can remember, and he is overseeing that.

Gray will quite rightly get most of the praise but Mackay is also clearly contributing to our success.

I thought his role covers the whole football operation at Hibs? In fact I'm sure it does.

There's always an anti-Mackay banner at the Hibs women's games that a couple of fans bring in, along with (for some reason) a Palestinian flag.
