Get that Porteous splits opinion but it can’t be disputed that he has quality. Even since leaving us, he’s made the best part of a hundred appearances in the Championship and got more international caps.
Loads of questions about his character but we have a manager who knows that side of him better than any of us.
Would be a good signing for me.

I agree. In my opinion he was still one of the better players outside the old firm when he left and in the time since he's had a great run for Scotland in my opinion and looked to have taken another step. I do genuinely believe that stupid tackle vs Germany has derailed him in some way and it's hopefully a huge learning moment for him.Quote:
