A lot of folk on the Oasis subreddit were running away with the idea that they would be one of the surprise performances, I found that a bit amusing. Was disappointed Deftones didn't end up playing and had to cancel pretty late on. One of my favourite bands over the years.
Credit to Turnstile though - what a performance they put on - most energy I've ever seen at a Glastonbury gig, more reminiscent to something you'd see at Download or Outbreak than Glastonbury (really highlight how diverse an audience it is that goes there every year).
I've been playing their new LP on repeat the past month or so now - a step away from the hardcore genre but an excellent record with a lot of diverse tracks and experimental sounds.
No Roy Harper footage from the BBC, bit of a joke really. He's been recording for 50 years, headlined the acoustic stage last night and has had a massive influence over the decades.
