One of my favourite all time live acts. Seen them live about eight times, including my 21st at The Venue. ****ing love them.
Going to try and seem them in August in Glasgow.

Robert Smith looks like Beetlejuice
A lot of folk on the Oasis subreddit were running away with the idea that they would be one of the surprise performances, I found that a bit amusing. I’m a huge Oasis fan but why in the ever living **** would you agree to do a surprise set at Glastonbury a week before you start a tour that’s worth a cool £200m to you?
It would’ve been BIBLICAL though, as LG would say.

Enjoyed his set even if he did hit quite a few bum notes.
If I'd paid good money to be there and put up with all that is Glastonbury to see him, or whoever else was doing the Legends set, I'd not be happy if my view was restricted by all these stupid flags. Apart from the one that said T1TS. That caught my eye.
The Prodigy were brilliant tonight, my act of the event
Biffy Clyro second and im putting a nostalgic Gary Numan in third.
Each to their own but I thought Rod was terrible.
Was disappointed Deftones didn't end up playing and had to cancel pretty late on. One of my favourite bands over the years.
Credit to Turnstile though - what a performance they put on - most energy I've ever seen at a Glastonbury gig, more reminiscent to something you'd see at Download or Outbreak than Glastonbury (really highlight how diverse an audience it is that goes there every year).
I've been playing their new LP on repeat the past month or so now - a step away from the hardcore genre but an excellent record with a lot of diverse tracks and experimental sounds.
No Roy Harper footage from the BBC, bit of a joke really. He's been recording for 50 years, headlined the acoustic stage last night and has had a massive influence over the decades.
Been quite a while since I last discovered a new band but I’ve been quite enjoying a bit of Bob Vylan today.
My 15 year old self would have been all over them.
I was saying that earlier. I'm a bit annoyed I'm really too old for Kneecap and Bob Vylan. The kind of albums I'd have bought to **** off my parents 25 years ago. Eminem rapping about brutally murdering his wife seems a bit tame now (or maybe people just didn't take it literally then).
On a positive note both would have likely passed me by but the right wingers pearl clutching on social media have pointed me in their direction in recent weeks so now I'm officially down with the kids🤣
You’re never too old to be one of the H.O.O.Ds, PB. Looking forward to their Wembley Arena show in September now, maybe a bit too old for the 3CAG nowadays myself though so just a few bevvys for me. Kneecap in the “belly of the beast”, buzzing.

Are you really too old? The Kneecap lead singer is 37 and the Bob Vylan duo are 35. Hardly kids. Sure, eyebrows might be raised at a middle aged man going to an Olivia Rodrigo gig on his own but there needn't be an age limit for stuff you like. On the flip side I used to think the artists from my parents era were boring old has-beens but you end up growing to appreciate them.
Pretty sure Eminem was making a name for himself in his teens incidentally, while the Sex Pistols were all still teenagers when they first got together.
I'm obviously doing something really stupid so I thought I'd come here to confirm my stupidity! Trying to watch the Biffy set but it doesn't come up on the Iplayer app on my telly however if you just type it into google the first thing that comes up is the Biffy set on bbc Iplayer. Are the App and website different?
Just caught up with a couple more sets- Kneecap were good fun and didn't hold back.
Turnstile- watched them based on recommendations from here/pals, absolutely class. One of the best things I've seen from the festival.
Didn't think I would enjoy this years Glastonbury but there were so many great acts all worth checking out on iPlayer (except Bob Vylan obviously :greengrin)
Fat Dog
Wunderhorse
Gary Numan
Blossoms
Nova Twins
St. Vincent
Bob Vylan
Kneecap
Inhaler
Wet Leg
Amyl & the Sniffers
Turnstile
Wolf Alice
Biffy Clyro
The Libertines
Special mention for The Prodigy, just off the scale good, one of the best live acts ever.
Thought Rod got better the longer it went, but for me it really is time to retire. Pulp I thought were brilliant, and the 3 female band who played guitar and drums were the highlight for me, but never caught their name. Will have a look at some stage at their back catalogue.👍👍
