All those millions wasted just to finish above us and they are 10 points behind in a season where we have been pish. They be dead this time next year.

Apologies for above post, was distracted when writing at some point and made a James Hunt of it.
Utter nonsense to say libellous and it aint a bellyache.Im seriously concerned with*the amount of dough heading to JB,I couldnt have made a contribution to question time today as Im not a shareholder anyway.
In short I reckon the bloke has had*a blank cheque issued to him.Any job thats went to cost double in the end should have an investigation into the matter done. All the extras as well, what were the extras exactly ???
Is there any indication of overtime rates being introduced to have the job finished asap*? if so,I suppose that goes a small way to explaining the spiralled costs.

He doesn't seem to realise that the construction phase lacked an architect and a professional site manager, so the whole thing was a complete ferrago. A money pit.
Saying that an expensive investigation, where all the linen, clean or dirty, gets dragged out for all to see seems right. Would be especially interested in the evidence for the "Castle View" farce and the "Right Gaffer, that's us ready to install the seats. Where are they by the way?" bit. Also maybe ask why it seems so rusty already.

The other three stands were only meant to last 25 years. Cant remember when they built them.
There must be £1.5M in 2p coins in that big cow by now.
What a ****ing shambles of a club.
With Alessio being emptied at Killie today, just wondering if Stendel is looking at other clubs in the division with brighter prospects than the one he is at?
Allegedly he’s got form for that sort of thing.
Stendel will turn this around. We'll just ignore Saturday and St Johnstone's first away win in 500 years after being sussed out by Tommy Wright. We'll just also ignore his horrendous record this season at his previous club. He'll turn it around. FTH
The Wheatfield Stand was built in 1994, the same time as the North and South Stands at Hibs.
The Roseburn Stand was built in 1995 and the Gorgie Road Stand in 1997. I seem to recall Tynecastle having an ‘Open Air’ seated area at the Gorgie Road end for the ‘Gordon Hunter’ derby with the Roseburn end a demolition site.
The three stands constructed in the 1990s were all very cheap and nasty. Certainly when compared to Easter Road. The thumbprints of Wallace Mercer were all over the whole 1990s development even though he sold the club long before it was complete. Corners were cut everywhere
Very different creating a disrupting IT business that is sold for millions to running a football club which is multifaceted. Look at the number of successful IT start ups that are sold for a fortune and eventually the founders are disposed off because they do not have the business acumen to run a larger maturing company.
A song for the Derby to sum up the agm 😂
(tune of Warburton song)
The pitch it is a shambles
Ann Budge she blames the shade
The stand still isn't finished
Cos Budge still hasn't paid
So lets all laugh at jambos, listen to them moan
Cos Levein's on the backshift
And Macphee works from home
😂
Knowing the guy and the company in question of old, being essentially joiners, I'd imagine they were only involved in the internal fit-outs, probably being paid on a time and materials basis due to the design changing from day to day.
Jim's a good guy and always struck me as being very honest. I'd be very surprised if he was pocketing squillions from the Tynie project.

Yes but news ignoring. Think when Budge is gone it will come out in the wash. Part of the £1.5 million to finish stand is probably some the money her brother's company is owed. Maybe why she us staying on a year beyond when she is supposed to be paid back so that she sees he gets is money.
I don’t get it.
Chic Young and Derek Ferguson and Billy Dodds etc on sportsound said Budge could be the next SPFL CEO a few years back. She was in the job 5 mins and they were claiming that we had some sort of visionary on our hands...
More recently the pundits and journos were saying she lacked football knowledge but was still a brilliant business woman, “look at what she has done off the park”....
Yet today she has been responsible for a one tier stand that is 90% over budget and contracted to her brother in law 👀 , a £1m hibrid pitch which looks like the meadows, a £9m player cost for a bloated bunch of total wasters and a club that relies on benefactors and fan donations to make ends meet. The club could in theory go bust AGAIN if they are relegated before she even hands the shares over to the gorgie cardigan wearing bowling club committee..
Wow a true genius.
They owe it to themselves. It's like when I spend £100 on my credit card. It's my credit card therefore I owe it to myself not the provider. Might pay myself back might not doesn't matter because it's owed to me. Same rules apply with with the giant glass curtain world wonder megastand or anything else Homfc do.
At this rate of ploughing through money again, they’ll have next years seasons on sale by February to plug the gap
https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/hearts...s-by-february/
Budge has said she may complete the handover by February. What a great situation for the biggest fan owned club in the country to kick off with.
On course and could be February or March. She keeps the donators up to date on how Hearts are wasting their money. They don't want any say over how it is spent. Can you believe any of that. Particularly, has she had to make a further lian if £2 million to Hearts. Why did the donators not stump then
I still think it us Queen B herself.
Have I dreamt this or is she still going to be chief executive after the handover?
I have the same dream, we really need more of the same. If anything I'm hoping she can convince Levein to stay indefinitely, but only coming in between 2am and 245am on the last Wednesday of the month to turn all the pictures in Stehndal's office upside down.

At one point her brother was only charged with fitting and arranging the building works for the temporary changing rooms and tunnel. I don't think he was anything to do with the New old looking stand. Maybe that changed in time. The new stand was built by the guy who built the bus shelter parts of the ground.

Might not be long before the Jumble Sales are being set up again down Gorgie Road
In the first instance JB did the changing rooms etc. in the Wheatfield. They have since done fitting out work in the new stand.
As for the guy who did the rest of the ground, I don't know if you're speaking about the kid-on architect but he was sacked during the construction of the main stand.
Difficult to tell exactly how involved he became. But unpaid debts went from £450k at end March 2018 to £730k at end March 2019. For a company of 9 people that is considerable. Maybe explains the JB Contractor advertising at Tinycastle. Thrown in free while he waits to get paid.
This thread is such a hoot and they are playing Celtic tonight. There is going to be so much more material by midnight.
Interesting fact, but the Finance Director at Hearts is called Jacqui Duncan
#Allisbarry
I can't believe the FoH aren't up in arms at what amounts to gross mis-management of their club (or soon-to-be their club).
Can you imagine how different their fortunes would be if that additional £12m or so had been put into players rather than a stand which isn't going to deliver anywhere near what they hoped for. They'd be out of reach of us, and most of the rest of the league. The fact that they still need to find funds to finish it AND repay her is incredible.
If you actually step back and look at their situation, it's staggeringly bad. It's hilarious, but from their point of view, horrendous.
If there aren't already massive alarm bells ringing in their support, there should be. Everything they touch at the moment turns to keech. We joke about laughing stocks etc, but they actually are a laughing stock at the moment. The only crumb of comfort they've had in 12 months is a relatively flukey win at Easter Road. That's the sum of it. And it cost them millions and millions of pounds.
I don't think they're in any financial danger, but they're going to have a reality check when the time comes to cut the cloth to what the business can sustain.
I suppose in theory that the extra money going in could continue indefinitely, but I don't think that's really a)likely or b) sustainable for planning.
Tangential - but here's Gordon Strachan recruiting for the Celtc dark side - "fear leads to anger, anger leads to hoops ..."

Not sure, but I do hope she hits Ann Budge with an old joke every so often
Duncan: Knock Knock
Budge: Who's there
Duncan: Duncan
Budge: Duncan Who?
Duncan make yer million pound pitch look a bit less shan if you spread it evenly across the surface, Queen Ann:na na:
Budge states that they are £400k behind budget.
This £400k figure is a red herring to deflect the severity of HMFC financial issues. This BUDGEt is nothing but an internal financial plan which will never be made public. It’s not some minor (and manageable) £400k they need to find to get them through to seasons end. This £400k number is merely a statement to show they are only a little behind their own internal budget. The fact they are £400k behind budget is meaningless information without us knowing what that BUDGEt might have been in the first place.
The true figure for what they need to see them through to the end of the season can be deduced from their latest accounts to 30 June which show an already spent £4-5m of early season ticket money. If HMFC don’t get to the Scottish cup final again, then here’s a gap of c£500k compared to last year. On top of this, they’ll probably get through close to £500k extra on the recruitment of a new management team and perhaps severance payments for dead wood hanging around Tynecastle. The increased wage bill compared to last season is going to hurt them also. The extra cash needed for the year to 30 June 2020 probably will be over £5m.
To say that they are only £400k behind is disingenuous and deflects from the true financial position. The question the HMFC fans should have been asking was “How much cash is needed to see us through to end of the season?”
Without knowing how deep the pockets of the donors are, it’s impossible to say how close HMFC are to financial ruin but as the additional cash spent by HMFC since Admin approaches £30m it’s difficult not to stand back and look on in astonishment at the total of the amounts being burnt through.
One does wonder if the faint rhythmic pattern in the background (that for now only those with Hibee hearing might notice), is the start of the tick and the tock of the countdown clock that regularly looms over those of our country’s football clubs who are unable to operate within the narrow financial parameters to which football in Scotland restricts us.
Wallace as FoH chairman is by all accounts a very passive individual.
What the Hearts fans need or needed (as too late now) was a healthy tension but productive relationship between FoH and Budge. Instead the only public commentary from Wallace appears to be asking Queen Ann when she wants the cash and where to send it.
The governance model which is ultimately key to how fan involvement will work in the future has been diluted to the point that even the happy clappers in kickback more recently started to question the changes. In simple terms There will be two directors representing the fans on the future board but ALL day to day decisions will be through CEO and overall board. Budge may well be handing over the club to the fans but don’t expect a jot of difference while Budge is still in charge. It will always be her club, her toy and her ego trip.
As others have reflected in 5.5 years what have they achieved and what resources have they wasted? They have won a championship trophy. They has played in Europe once and were humiliated. They are bottom of the league and facing amongst other things a 3rd year in a row behind ourselves.
They have overspent c£10m on a one tier stand. They have taken in £9m from FoH and they have received c£6m from mystery benefactors. Even if you deduct the amount needed to pay for shares £2.5m and make allowances for post admin club working capital and financing they have STILL MANAGED TO WASTE £15m+ on zero success, terrible football, a dreadful bloated overpaid squad, an academy that produced little if anything and an army of shocking coaches.
Quite astonishing and I can guarantee when Budge goes the benefactors will disappear and the FoH direct debits will dry up.
The team Hearts have announced tonight is utter jobbies.
Stendel either trying to work his ticket out of there already or trying to make the point he needs funds in January.
It’s games like this that make me want to start gambling again.
Is there any chance, however small, that lot could come away with anything tonight?!
Stendel's a slaver.
Stole this of Twitter
Hearts new groundsmen revealed 😂
Matty, great post except you forget they would not have a main stand as it was going to be shut down. The funding would be great but even Hearts could not survvive the red neck of a condemmed main stand (or an unusable listed building). The "we can do this in 6 months" was an hilarious slapstick comedy. That threadneeds a quick bump.

Yes I think that is the real issue. Once Budge gone the anonymous donations will mysteriously stop. FOH will see most DDs stop too. They will be left on the real income of season ticket sales and some TV money plus merchandising and match day entertainment. They will be left with an unfinished stand and having to cut the playing staff and off loading high earners - some will be difficult to shift such as Naismith and Berra. They will have no access to credit and still have to pay back the second loan to Budge (£2 million). The standard of squad will not only drop in size but in standard as well. They look to be a bottom 6 side at best for some time.
Worst new manager bounce in history?
Calderwood lost his first four games, the fourth being a home derby against Hearts.
I still think we're going to have the pull all the stops to get a win at Tynecastle. They will up their game against us no matter who the manager is. How many times have we seen this before?
Let’s be honest here between mystery benefactors and FoH they have received 18m quid more than any team out the old firm.
That’s incredible!
What’s more incredible is that they have *****ed it all. Are running at a loss. Need new players and can’t afford any. Their pitch is crap. Shan stand that is unfinished and 10mill over budget. Bottom of the league. 5 senior coaches on gardening leave that they can’t afford to payoff.
Budgie should be getting marched out the door. The Duncan’s are once again hiding their head in the sand clinging onto the idea they are the big club.
Hilarious and long may it continue.
