Could end up a belter if GGG can target it.

Golovkin edging ahead now.
I get the feeling this pair could go all night.
Golovkin surely a couple ahead but knowing these numpty judges it could be as close as all square.
That cuts got bigger.
GGG's to lose for me now.
That was a ****ing good round.
Alvarez needs to knock him out for me.
Great fight. Golovkin won it for me.
What a joke.

Absolute joke. Seriously.
Surprise surprise. Why would anyone want to fight on a golden boy promoted fight anymore.
Can't see how GGG lost that. Gutted for him. Just think the fight came a few years too late otherwise he'd have floored Canelo.
While I had it by 2 to GGG, it’s interesting that a lot of boxing pros had Canelo by 1 or a draw. Caleb Truax had Canelo 8-4 [emoji50]

I'm a huge boxing fan, really gone off US based boxing shows.
Thought it was close but didn't have Canelo winning 7 of the rounds, as prettyboy says in Vegas on a Golden boy show then GGG would have had to have got a knock out to win
Gutted for GGG.
Can't believe that result, absolute shocker
What are folks' thoughts on Joshua v Potevkin?
I expected Joshua to be favourite but was surprised Potevkin is available at 15/2.
Much like with the big fight last weekend I'd say Povetkin needs a KO to win. Can anyone really see Joshua losing a decision in London when a fight with Wilder or Fury is inevitable.?
FWIW I think AJ will win quite comfortably if he's disciplined again. Povetkin is no mug but I think it's fair to say his record is a bit padded over the last 3 years or so, his last 6 opponents had 17 losses between them before fighting him. I'm not sure I see a stoppage but Joshua by 4 or 5 rounds is my guess.
It’s a dangerous fight for Joshua if he tries to make a statement and knock Povetkin out early doors. If he gets his jab going and uses his skills he’ll win comfortably on points. After this he needs to fight the winner of Fury and Wilder or Dillian Whyte. Right now I’d rate Whyte as the toughest fight, he’s matured a lot as a boxer in the last couple of years.
Time is due to start at.
AJ to win comfortably might go the distance though
Anyone got a link for the fight?

I’m now concerned about the method of victory [emoji23][emoji23]

A comfortable win for AJ I reckon.
Let’s get ready to rumble..
The end of that round makes it a bit more interesting
Cagey first, but great shot from Povetkin at the end there.
10 10
10 9
povetkin by 1 so far.
10 10
still Povetkin by one.
10-10 again for me
10-10 again. AJ needs to lift this
10-10 again
Devastating finish
AJ KO in the 7th.
Good night Vienna. AJ turns it on. Good finish.
AJ v Wilder in 2019? Has to happen.
AJ certainly knows how to finish a fight, that was super impressive. It was a close fight up until the ko.
I never realised Fury and Wilder had agreed a date, venue to be confirmed though.
How raging was Dylan Whyte there with Sky that was quality tv.
If Wilder beats Fury (which is likely) him and Joshua will happen in April. The amount of money in that fight is astronomical. There's abit of political posturing going on at the moment but it's all about the money and that fight will probably do 2 million PPV buys in the UK alone plus a gate of 90,000, chuck in American and international the rights , hospitality and sponsorship and it makes more money in the sport bar any fight involving Mayweather.
I thought that initially but both sides would look pretty daft if It didn't happen now, especially considering the grieve they've gave Joshua for not taking the fights. I think it will happen , Fury will get knocked out and retire afterwards and Wilder will fight Joshua.
Vegas being announced this week as the venue of the Fury fight apparently.
drugs cheat.
failed a test weeks before the andrade scrap for oxilofrine.hilarious since he's been slating alvarez and wanting all drugs cheats binned sine die.
but never mentioned his mukkers , tyson and hughie fury who both failed previous drugs tests plus it leaves a bad taste how he pulled out on short notice TWICE before his fights with martin murray.
Cracking fight on tonight with Groves v Smith - shame it's being held in Saudi Arabia- fancy Smith to win this
Pretty even so far, both carry power so can still see someone getting sparked
Smith has always been a bit of a savage when he smells blood, great finish
Well deserved win - delighted for Smith
just watched the first press conference between fury and wilder, i really cant take to fury at all
Benn v Eubank II, 25 years ago this weekend. **** I feel old! I did the double header of Lewis v Bruno in Cardiff followed by Benn v Eubank at Old Trafford, with a few football and rugby games in between. The halcyon days of British boxing!
Rocky Fielding to defend his WBA title against Canelo in December did not see that one coming.
I've always thought Smith was massive talent so wasn't any shame in Rocky getting beat by him.
Obviously Canelo is light years ahead of Rocky but there is a huge size advantage, Canelo is 5'8 and probably a natural welterweight,Rocky is 6'1 and a natural super middleweight that at least makes it interesting. Canelo obviously thinks Rocky will be an easy win for him.
Like I said it was probably the last fight I'd expect to be made right now.
Khan v brook negotiations underway to take place early 2019. Weight clause agreed.

Yeah think it is the IBF think the rule is that you can gain up to 10 pounds inbetween the weigh in and morning of the fight
WBC announced new pre fight additional weigh ins just last week at their Kiev conference. Boxers will be weighed again when they arrive at the venue on fight night now.
Lee McGregor??
McGregor did really well, winning that title after 5 fights is really good going, great stoppage as well, the Ritson fight was good as well, he did lose but the cards were mental, like to see a rematch
Bud Crawford showing last night why he is considered among the p4p best. Some cracking fights on the cards in the Welterweight division.
When can we expect the Josh Taylor undercard to be announced?
No probs!
Victor Postol (reserve for Taylor v Martin) confirmed as fighting Siar Ozgul.
Paul Butler (reserve for Burnett v Donaire) confirmed as fighting Yoan Boyeaux, though lots of rumours circulating about Donaire withdrawing due to issues making the weight.
Is the Taylor fight on the telly or just DAZN?
Sure I read that the fight is being shown on YouTube as no channel has picked up the rights yet.
Anyone seen any confirmed undercard lists for Saturday night?
