I see they are advertising the fact they will have every Europa and Conference league game this year... is there any reason this wouldn't include the qualifiers?

Presumably this will be the best(/only legal?) way to watch the games, away and/or home, for those not attending.

£31/month, and for thee of little faith it can be cancelled after the first month. :greengrin

I've never had any sky etc subscriptions so not sure if these guys are new or any good, but they seem to boast a fair amount of football, and other sports, for the upcoming season. I'm not sure how it works with so many games on concurrently though?

If you have EE you can add it to your phone package for cheaper. Was it not BBC who showed the qualifiers last time we played in Europe?

I would assume it wouldn't include qualifiers unless it's stated explicitly (they don't usually show these).

Does anyone know if BBC will be showing qualifiers for the Scottish teams?

I’m pretty sure the BBC showed Killie, St Mirren & Hearts qualifiers this season. Not all of them though.
It might depend on how much is left in the pot after committing to the Scotland games.
They showed our Andorran adventure a few years back. The rights will be available on a game by game basis.

TNT only have the rights from group stage onwards. Anything before then the clubs have their home rights to sell to broadcasters. That’s why qualifiers were on BBC then it switched

Are they what BT Sport evolved into?

I cancelled my sub when the change from the BT Sport app to the new app (discovery?) was clunky and didn’t work out for me.

I haven’t missed it, other than a minor dose of FOMO when mates discuss in group chats games I can’t watch.

TNT have the rights to the Champions League Playoff round onwards and the Europa and Conference League league stages but not any qualifiers in Europa and Conference League unless a deal is struck on a game-to-game basis.

It is all based on UEFA centralisation.

Any qualifiers before that are negotiated on a game-by-game basis with any channels.

TNT coverage generally is better than sky sports I find nowadays

Thanks all! Sounds like TNT isn't the answer then - hopefully our games are picked up by someone but shall wait and see.

As others have said TNT only have the proper rights to the Groups and on. I think they may even have the playoff round but that might be on a first refusal basis rather than a "we'll definitely show it" one.

Unfortunately whatever channel will show our minimum two qualifiers will likely only be announce within the week of the fixture being played. BBC showed our trip to Andorra while some random website showed Luzern on PPV (the American commentator was excellent and turned out he lived in Dunbar or something.) A lot of it will be determined by broadcasters in these countries and what they do that means someone like the BBC can just take a feed and stick one of their commentators in a booth over the top of it or not.

Agree with this. There's football on every night and commentary and analysis is pretty decent too

I subscribe to both as im a total football addict. TNT coverage is decent especially their European coverage. Sky is better for EPL games, for me cant beat that 4.30 Sunday afternoon spot. Sad football junkie that i am i base my Sunday around a good Sunday dinner, a good bottle of wine and The Sky main match.

Edit to add i am quite often seen in the gym on a sunday morning if im giving the wrong example of my lifestyle!!

Yeah I much prefer TNT as well. Actually give other leagues recognition. Great coverage of Italian and French football who sky pretend don't exist.
