The article certainly peddles the view that Foley is more invested in the 2 clubs he has outright and there are tensions in Lorient relationship much like we are seeing repeated - and he is the common denominator. So I take that he is not getting the influence he hoped in these situations
He's the minority shareholder, being out voted in the boardroom and canny take it, imo. He's not used to that, having been the main man all his life and making his billions. Reality check.Quote:

This is basically gutting out the team. As compensation Bournemouth send a striker called Faivre the other way to Lorient. And buy Benjamin Mendy(yes him) for them, and a failed striker at Marseille called Bamba Dieng. All of the these players would be far better than anything Hibs have got, but they arent as good as the players that have been flogged off. So the following season they get relegated. The more i read the more it sounds less like a City group multiclub model where there is mutual benefit (while recognising each team swims in a pond that is specific to the league and country it operates)and more like a way to allow Bournemouth to compete in EPL with less cost - wonder how long it will be till a club 'buys' a Bournemouth player for 'inflated' price to help them meet profit and sustainability rules They have already acquired good players on the relative cheap
