How bloody dear are these to buy online ?!
Add in slabs , Someone building it and you are looking at the fat end of £900 for a 4x6 shed WTF !!
Anyone bought a decent sizes shed for a fairly reasonable price and where from ?

I've just treated myself to a Keter (plastic) shed from Costco.
Was dubious about the build quality but having seen a mates, they're actually quite good, maintenance free and paintable.
Got a 7'6" X 7' for £750ish. Dearer than a traditional shiplap but should last longer.
You're lucky, my Feldwebel just made me cough up €4049 for our shed because she's convinced it will be more expensive later. I can't even build it until October at the earliest due to nesting birds in our hedge that needs to be removed because that's where the shed will be erected. Until then its taking up the space of a car in our garage.

Not sure how handy you are but a friend of mine did what I thought was a clever solution for a shed foundation. He was able to source some old scaffolding poles and clamps and made up a low level frame that was bolted to shorter lengths hammered into the ground, then sat his shed on top of it. No messing about with slabs, sand or concrete. From my own experience of sheds they are never big enough once you start using it so if you can afford it go for a couple of sizes up from what you think you’ll need.
We got a 6x4 plastic Keter shed, best thing we ever bought, very easy to install, no creosote, no roof felt blowing off in the winds and completely waterproof
Cant remember the cost though
Well got a Mercia (Installation Included) 8x6ft Overlap Apex Shed from Homebase which comes no later than 2nd May , Get an email or text more likely in the next fortnight as to what day it arrives
£650 all in quite a happy chappy with that
Was going to suggest Simply Sheds out by Danderhall. We're down in Peebles and they delivered and built a 5" 4" for under £500
and great quality
I've just looked at the log cabin I bought from screwfix 2 years ago and the prices have increased by £1,000 in that time.
Would be amazed if that included sorting out the base.
Did you get one Andy? You could always look for second hand ones as there are some good ones out there. I got this summer house a couple of months ago for 50 quid, although I had to dismantle it on site so that meant I had to hire a van and that was about £150 including diesel (it was in Arbroath!).
I didn't want to buy a new one as I'm modifying it to add a roll on roll off roof for astronomy.
