And here's Denis Law and Baker playing .
Beats me.
Liked the keeper adopting the then novel idea of lining up his wall :greengrin

The ref looked like Tiny Wharton
It was indeed the Big Blazer ,known as Tom "Tiny" Wharton. 6'4' he was in his bare feet.
Some character,Tiny.
He reffed for years and years throughout the world.
But he certainly did not sprint about the pitch like the current crop.
The man was built like a hoose.
I was surprised to be told he may have had a liking for Celtic.
He was good buddies with John Cairney the actor, who is Celtic daft.
Refs then got the same abuse they do now.
But back then we didnt have the luxury of replays /cameras,freeze frame.slo mo,etc. to settle disputes.
The ref had the final word .right or wrong!
It might be 2 and 2 adding up to 5,on Tiny being a Tim,though
Get that ......Tiny Tim!!!!
Tiptoe thru the tulips !:nanafunk:
No Not at all likely, seeing that.
Jeez will we ever be able to shake again !! (Not me mind)
Ach well a couple or three Celts back then where in the craft.
I did read though Tiny was good pals of the Cairney Brothers raised in Parkhead,,
And they are/were Celtic.
But i guess in that area including Brigton close by, it would be a right mixed soup
I would have been at that Torino game
I think the programme is in the loft with other stuff from the old days
Evening News copy from the day after beating Barca
The Battle of Easter Road
I still have that copy in decent knick
