I keep trying to go back to stuff I liked years ago and it only works occasionally. Big success though with Hue & Cry's first 3 albums, I'd never listened to them probably since they faded out the limelight in the early 90s and I assumed they'd sound dated but they made some absolutely gorgeous tunes. Looking For Linda and Ordinary Angel still send a wee tingle up the spine.
All my old Dylan stuff. His songwriting was genius.
I go through phases of what i listen to.
Current go to stuff is Primal Scream.
The Allman Brothers Band - Blue Sky (Eat A Peach, February 12 ...

Mr Haze- Texas
Holly Humberstone, really great voice, Lorde vibes.
Primal Scream are my goto playlist at the moment.
You have to wonder what they would have been like if he hadn’t died so young
I have a double Albumn which is a Duane Amman Anthology
The first three sides are when he played as a session player
Some great playing and of course he played on Clapton s Layla

So many in that situation Ronnie? Going right back to Glenn Miller, through Buddy Holly, Brian Jones (accident/murder?), hendrix, Joplin, Rory Gallagher, Clarence White, etc.
But I agree, Duane was up there with the very best. It's a good quiz question about Layla - to name the 2 guitarists.
Just put this together of some of the artists playing at a festival i’m going to (all being well) later in the year.
