What about the cup game though?
Potentially only 18 days until the game Billy, its not good enough. Fans come second as usual, especially those who need to organise travel plans/time off work etc. For the record I'm not blaming Hibs for this, the SFA and TV companies need to get the finger out.
March 3rd is my 50th birthday (gulp!)
JFDI Hibs!
Are we cutting their allocation like they do with us and Celtic?
Can KP bring up cutting off the bottom corners of the South stand for segreagation rather than cutting our own corner in the east? It’s ridiculous they get the best part of 1000 more tickets for here than we do for Tynecastle.
The problem is that it's more practical to do that in the East Stand than in the South.
There's a walkway right along the front of the South Stand for people to get to their seats, so it seems a bit pointless closing the front few rows when people can just stand in, or walk along, that walkway at any time.
In the East Stand, the walkways is actually behind the front 4(?) rows, so closing that section is much more effective.
Absolutely agree, and I'm keen to see the club's response to this.
We were allocated less than 3k tickets for the last derby at Tynecastle - whilst we continue to section off parts of our own stand to accommodate them.
Silence on the matter isn't good enough.
That section has previously been closed at derbies that were sold out. A quick look online at both cup-ties, and the Simon Murray goal in the league show this to be the case.
Not good enough that we're preventing our own support from buying tickets, but also accommodating a full stand of Hearts fans without the restrictions they (Hearts) place upon us at Tynecastle.
