How stupid could the Tesco Twitter Tweeter actually be to reveal that information?
"Casual racism"??
Come on, do you feel oppressed because your strawberry packaging has a different flag on it?
That said, a daft decision from Tesco. Why wouldn't they just print the England flag on English berries?
Hahahahahaha
I'm confused as to what's racist? Is it that Scottish fruit was labelled as such but that English was just generically packaged? Was that anti English? Or is it that the saltire has been replaced by the union flag as opposed to the union flag being replaced by the Welsh and English flags on their produce?
Daft decision by Tesco but racist? Not that I can see.
I wish people who claim to have witnessed cases of racism like this actually knew what real racism was.
I wish I had the kind of life where this was the sort of stuff that I got agitated about.
Lots of English people I know either can't understand why we didn't vote to leave or wish we'd "stop moaning" :roll eyes: and hurry up and leave the UK. In the past their was more anti-English feeling in Scotland than anti-Scottish feeling in England. I'd say that has switched over now.
As for removing the saltire, over sensitivity by Tesco, Should have told the complainents to bolt.
I think we should stop calling them 'blackberries' and call them 'brambles' instead. :agree:
That's what we called them when I was a boy.
And what about the 'black' grapes? How do you think they feel?
And will we still be able to get Brussels Sprouts after we leave the EC?
