Merry Christmas Everyone.
July, Pre-season started early with Intertoto Cup games against Elfborg, Hibs lost both legs 2-0.
26th August, Hibs lost to Morton 4-3 in first round of League Cup.
31st August, Derek Riordan re-signs for Hibs from Celtic.
7th November, Hibernian Ladies lost the final of the Premier League Cup 3-1 to Glasgow City.
11th January, Hibs lost to Hearts 2-0 in the Scottish Cup.
29th April, Hibs Under 19 team completed the League and Cup double when after winning the U19 League, four points clear of Hearts in second place, they went on to beat Rangers 2-1 in the Final of the Scottish Youth Cup at Hampden, the winner being scored in the last minute of extra time. Both Hibs goals being scored by Kurtis Byrne.
29th May, Mixu Paatelainen left the club by mutual consent.
8th June, Former club captain John Hughes left Falkirk to join Hibs as manager.
June, Steven Fletcher was sold to Burnley for a fee of £3m, (after Burnley were relegated at the end of season 2009-10, he was transferred to Wolves for £6.5m)
