I'm new to the area so please excuse this post.
Is there somewhere to watch the game on BT Sport in central York or on the 5 bus route to Strensall?
Cheers!

The Stone Roses bar, if its on there then you'll enjoy the atmosphere.
There's a boozer diagonally across from The Punch Bowl (Wetherspoons) thats good for watching games, the name escapes me though. Nae idea if its on the bus route either.
O'neills should have it, good boozer and has a picture of george best in a hibs top behind the bar to boot. Not sure the bus roite, bit its at the far end of the high steeet, turn right and just before the beidge. Also id you go to the top of the shambles and turn left or right and you will have a pick of places. Tbh ive been to york about 5 or 6 tines and it pretty much has a pub every 100 yards in and aeound the city center, so kost places will have it. But do recommend O'neills, cheap and cheerful with not bad food
I've been to O'Neill's before, but I didn't think it had BT Sport.
Called the White Horse and best avoided. Used to have something to do with Roy Kay and they have a framed shirt of his hanging up that he wore when they were inevitably getting trousered some time in the mid 70s.
Keystones at Monkbar is covered in TVs and is bound to have it on. You'll get a decent pint in there too at student rates.
The Golden Lion further along Goodramgate from there is also a good bet.
If you're in Micklegait, the Priory will show it and there's a 'Sports Bar' further up which is a cert.
York Pennsylvania anyone?
...just me then...
from what we've seen on tv, you wont be up to yer knees in feinian blood. wear waders though, it can be a bit wet, whatever boozer you find :wink::wink:
