1st August, Steven Whittaker continued the exit of the ‘Teenage Kicks’ team when he joined Rangers for a fee of £2m
December, Hibs opened their new purpose built East Mains Training Centre in East Lothian.
20th December, John Collins resigned as manager.
Assistant Tommy Craig took temporary charge for a second time, the previous time was in 1986.
10th January, former player Mixu Paatelainen was appointed as Hibs 25th permanent manager.
Hibernian Ladies won the Premier League Cup with a 4-0 win over Queen’s Park Ladies.
10th February, Hibernian Ladies beat Aberdeen University 19-0 in the second round of the Unite Scottish Cup.
17th May, Hibernian Ladies retained the Scottish Cup with a 3-1 win over Celtic in a final that was only resolved after extra time.
