First Hibs match |
Allegedly when I was about 6
years old. On a trip up from London with my folks (Mum from
Prestonpans, Dad from Penicuik) my Dad took me to Easter Road. Don't
remember much about it apart from the cold, swearing and seeing my Dad go
completely mental for the first time! In recent years, 1990 against
Partick, guess what, 0-0!! |
How long a member of London Hibs |
About 1 month since moving
down from Leith where I lived for the last 10 years |
How did you find out about London Hibs |
Well known around Easter
Road |
Favourite all time Hibs Player |
There will always be a place
in my footballing heart for the likes of Joe Tortolano, Alan Sneddon and
Tam McIntyre. But seriously, all time favourite has to be Keith
Wright. Top Hibee and can still be seen in the Centre Stand on match days
when he's not playing for other lower division sides! |
Most memorable Game |
Either the 3-0 stuffing of
the Maroon Muppets recently (what a goal from Sauzee) or the Skol Cup
Semi!! |
How often do you get to games |
Been a season ticket holder
off and on for the last 9 years |
When did you leave Scotland? (If
applicable) |
Jan 2000 |
Why do you live in the South? |
Work |
Favourite English team |
Crystal Palace |
Lowest moment following Hibs? |
Hearts winning the Scottish
Cup |
Best Hibs goal? |
Kevin Harper, Easter Road,
1997 against the Scumbos. What a strike! Gets ten yards
further out each time I remember it! |
What is the best thing about being a
Hibby? |
First to wear the green and,
of course, moral superiority |
Proudest moment following Hibs? |
Driving from the West End in
Edinburgh along Princes St with the streets lined with green and white,
all the way down to Easter Road. Awesome |
How did you become a Hibby? |
My Dad, even though he moved
to London in the early sixties, always loved his team and when I moved to
Scotland, there is only one true choice for Football in Edinburgh! |
