John Ewan

Name John Ewan
Birthplace/Date St Andrews, 1966
Primary School Markinch Primary
Secondary School Glenrothes High School
First Hibs match East Fife 0, Hibernian 3 5/1/74
How long a member of London Hibs since 1990
How did you find out about London Hibs Met Dino Rafferty and Davie Jackson at Swindon for pre-season friendly 90/91
Favourite all time Hibs Player I suppose I should say Stanton or Baker - but I didn't really see them play. As a kid my favourites were Ally MacLeod and Jackie McNamara, since then I suppose it would have to be John Collins, Mickey Weir and Keith Wright
Most memorable Game Beating Celtic on penalties following a 4-4 draw at Easter Road in the Skol Cup in 1985
How often do you get to games Depends upon how well we are play - on average about once every 6-8 weeks.
When did you leave Scotland? (If applicable) September 1988
Why do you live in the South? Bromley, Kent
Favourite English team West Ham (I'm a season-ticket holder)
Lowest moment following Hibs? 1)Wayne Foster's last minute winner in the cup-tie at Easter Road
2)Losing to East Fife in a cup-replay at Methil having to go to school the next day
3) Hibs fans giving Justin Fashanu racist abuse at Tynecastle
Best Hibs goal? Joe McBride's equalising free-kick at Tynecastle. Hearts had gone two up in the first half and McBride scored twice in the last five minutes.
What is the best thing about being a Hibby? When they finally turn it on and it makes all the bad times seem so worthwhile
Proudest moment following Hibs? Winning the Skol Cup in 1991
How did you become a Hibby? Grew out of East Fife and was old enough to travel to Edinburgh on my own
