Name Stuart Dickson
Birthplace/Date Simpson Baby Factory, Edinburgh, 1960
Primary School George Heriots
Secondary School George Heriots/Leith Academy
First Hibs match Hibs v Clyde in the early 70’s (I am not 100% sure about the year, but we won 4-1 anyway)
How long a member of London Hibs 1st Year
How did you find out about London Hibs Internet
Favourite all time Hibs Player If pushed I’d say St Patrick of Stanton, but Jim O’Rourke and Arthur Duncan came close.
Most memorable Game 7-0 is too obvious. The 1991 League Cup Semi against the Huns. What a lovely goal!
How often do you get to games Only about twice a season.
When did you leave Scotland? (If applicable) 1986
Why do you live in the South? It’s not so bloody cold!
Favourite English team Newcastle United. (I used to watch John Brownlie play for them)
Lowest moment following Hibs? Jim Duffy (generally)
Best Hibs goal? I am sure it was a George Best one.
What is the best thing about being a Hibby? Associating with other pessimists and I don’t have to wear maroon. Seriously though, it’s the history!!! And if you know your history …
Proudest moment following Hibs? Hands Off Hibs Rally and then winning the League Cup. It’s just a pity that Mercer had to be the cause of the rally.
How did you become a Hibby? Being raised within a mile of Easter Road (and probably to spite the rest of my family who supported the Scumbos)
