Saracens doing some work to monitor effects of head knocks on players. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/30671380 Good to see. Was there not a case in Scotland were a footballer tried to sue for the effects of heading a ball over the years? Don't think he was successful.
Well done to Gary Anderson beating Phil Taylor in the darts world championship. Tweet by Judy Murray saying he is a Hibee. GGTTH
Anyone ever been to a local MMA event? I went to one on Saturday at Portobello town hall organised by headhunters, some great fights and really talented fighters. There's a great atmosphere everyone is there for a good time, it's like going to the darts but instead of Phil Taylor you get to...
Just noticed that Brian Close has died - former England, Yorkshire and Somerset captain and a very fine opening batsman. Brave man - stood up to Andy Roberts and Michael Holding without all the padding and headgear they wear nowadays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-f5pfBgpNE Youngest...
Lots of boxing coming up, enjoy. http://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/10021130/wladimir-klitschko-vs-tyson-fury-headlines-a-packed-autumn-of-sky-sports-boxing
RIP Ali Nowadays words like legend get used too easily but in Ali's case it didn't do him justice. Had health problems over the years but doesn't soften the blow of his death. Think today's going to be a day watching clips of his fights on YouTube.
very sad to hear of the passing of YouTube sensation and MMA fighter Kimbo Slice at just 42. used to be amazed watching his street fighting videos before he made the transition into boxing and MMA, was due to headline Bellator in London in a couple of months too.. such a shame.
Hi fellow hibbies, i help run a Youth Football club in the North of Edinburgh and we are urgently looking for coaches, it would be ideal if you had experience but a love of football and the ability to deal with kids is enough to get started. Sure it can be stresfull at times but its incredibly...
I cancelled my Sky subscription the other week & it just ran out before the Open started...Can anyone PM with a decent stream please, I can't find one...
****in hell these guys are strong. We're down to the last few trying to lift over 200k . Real competition.
Hey guys, here's episode 2 of my podcast; an interview with former WWE Superstar Daniel Puder. It would be amazing if you could share this as we're a bit disappointed with numbers atm. As always, you can find me on Twitter @DonaghCorby_ https://soundcloud.com/user-770211590/episode-2-daniel-puder
Might seem a little childish but does anyone else find it funny that one week on from his comments about his corner not owning a towel ( which were out of order) he has withdrawn from his next fight due to injury.
Murray beats Dimitrov 2 sets to 0, nice one Andy!
Never give up. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-38185120 Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
Thomas Bjorn just confirmed as European Ryder Cup Captain for 2018. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/38219036 Obvious choice!
Just catching up with this now and I know I need to be careful with what I say but am I right that British Cycling isn't covering itself in glory just now? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/38535591 Bradley Wiggins got something brought over from the UK at a cost that could have been...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/38904731 300 not out in 12 overs - that's 25 an over, averaging more than 4 runs every ball. I'm not sure what level exactly he was playing at, but holy smoke! It's cricket, Jim, but not as we know it. :faf:
Anybody any idea how the fund raising is going for a statue of him going? Should not have to be fundraising anyway the council should be paying for it anyway
Anyone else planning on watching this season? Two of my fav fighters as coaches and they're going to be going at it all season. First episode was very good and a well deserved victory for Team TJ.
Not sure if there are any bike racing fans on here, but really sad to hear that WSB rider Nicky Hayden has passed away at only 36.
Good win for Anderson, poor but, winning semi performance. Never saw the final.
No pga tour until next week's BMW. The European Omega tournament starts tomorrow morning in Switzerland. There's some big names competing like Tommy Fleetwood, Lee Westwood, Richie Ramsey and Ross Fisher. I'm having a wee bet outright on Adrian Otageui, Chris Wood, Tom Lewis and George Coetzee...
After a favour if anyone can help. I work away most of the summer and still need 2 rounds to retain my handicap. Is any netter free at any time on Tuesday or Wednesday so I can get another card in?
Last minute winner for Edinburgh, superb Edinburgh down to 14 for most of the game
Sat up till the very early hours this morning watching this tournament unfold. It was the first time I'd sat and watched this one. It was a mixture of stroke play/knockout/six hole match play until finally Aphibarnrat prevailed. I found the mixture of different type golf play combined into this...
This is the first time I’ve really got into it. I have to say I’m really enjoying it. I don’t take it seriously as a proper form of cricket, but it’s very exciting to watch with loads of games coming coming down to the final ball. Unfortunately I’ve adopted the Mumbai Indians as my team. They’re...
Dunno if anyone saw Sundays moto2 race but this was quite incredible. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/45473316
Shocking news - Celia Barquín Arozamena, 22, won the European Ladies' Amateur championship in July and was a leading student athlete at Iowa State University. She was found dead on an Iowa golf course. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-45558504
Great win for Anderson over the weekend, taking out a 140 finish to beat MVG 10-9 being the highlight.
Got a lot of time for the stage dancers outfits! Hibs-tastic! 😍
See it's Great Britain this year rather than Scotland/England. GB team B starting now against Chile. Jayson Shaw in team A.
Has anyone played this at Swanston farm or anywhere else for that matter? Looking for some advice on whether it was any good or not and what footwear you used, they say no blades or studs but then look at pictures which look like folk are wearing studs

Found not guilty of sexual assault and being drunk on a plane after groping an air hostess and pissing in the aisle. I always thought being drunk was never an excuse. I’m also confused why the not guilty verdict of being drunk has been found. What the **** was he doing if he wasn’t pissed?
Great to see Tony Finau eventually get it over the line in a big one with his win in a play off against Cam Smith. Huge admiration fir John Rahm tho. He was at the side of the green to congratulate the winner when it would be easy to leave in a bad mood after the way he finished. Class act.
Some effort from Fallon Sherrock to defeat DvdB 11-10 in the semi after being 7-1 down. Lost to MVG in the final 11-7 after leading 6-3.
Just got round to watching the final, what a great match - Wright 11 Searle 10.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/60508396 Phenomenal cricketer. One of my all time favourites.
Less than four weeks now until England start the first of their three Tests in the Caribbean. The squad selection or 'reset' as they are calling it has drawn a lot of attention, most notably for the omission of Anderson and Broad. I can't say I'm surprised about them missing out however. ...
