Caught a programme called Timbersports on TV. Basically it’s a race to see which team can saw or chop wood the fastest. I did wonder if anyone had lost a foot while chopping the log which was between their feet

Put your heed out the window and breath
Has anyone else seen the offer in their local pro shop to trial the new Pro V1/Pro V1x? All you need to do is hand in 2 brand new "premium" balls and get 2 Pro V1's in return. Now the interesting part... They are defining "premium" as balls which are sold in packs of 12. This to...
come along and watch tna impact at www.wwe-liveshows.com :agree:

Normally can't wait for the Olympics but just can't get excited about it this year. No crowds and middle of the night UK times not helping.
As it stands it looks like Young Tom will win this event in only his third event as a professional. His performance at this years Open was a bit special but shold he win (and it will take somehing really special to overtake him) this performance will eclipse that by quite a way. A young man with...
Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Heartbreaking only 48 or so with young family. What a player he was. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/50395820
Got a lot of time for the stage dancers outfits! Hibs-tastic! 😍
Ex England captain is dead aged 66. Quite a controversial character, especially his comments about the west indies and making them grovel when they arrived in England in 1976.

No particular order here, because you can’t compare between sports obviously. Maradona, Tiger, Senna, O’Sullivan, Babe Ruth. Discuss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We've all heard the dreaded ripping noise just as we're about to make our downswing, but here's a way to avoid it.
I'm off to Toronto in a couple of weeks and have managed to secure tickets for the Leafs game against Washington. Anyone been before? What can I expect? Really looking forward to it, especially excited about seeing the lad Ovechkin!
Watched most of Andy Murray's match against Novak Djokovic this morning (the match finished about 1:45am and I couldn't keep my eyes open until the very end) and I thought he played extremely well. It may not have been Djokovic's greatest ever match but it was a massive win for Murray who had a 0-4...
In case anyone is interested, I thought I would give some notice that Andy Murray is playing tonight against Rafael Nadal in the semi finals of the Toronto Masters. The match begins at 8pm (British time) and is a rematch of this year's Wimbledon semi final, which Nadal won in straight sets. ...
The Fedex Cup winner will be known after the Tour Championship tournament. Last weeks BMW was a bit of a damp squib with Marc Leishman having virtually won it going into the weekend and all he had to do was cruise round on Sunday which he did. He played the four days magnificently and it was a...
Thon Leigh Howard must be a big, big Groucho Marx fan as I swear those eyebrows are painted on in some sort of tribute to Groucho's greasepainted 'tache. :agree:
Any cycling fans / cyclists on .net? I was a bit sceptical of the tour starting in Yorkshire this year but have to say the two opening stages have really delivered.
I see Froom has 'all but won it' again. I'm one of the uninitiated, would somebody explain how the scoring's done? I mean every time I hear anything about it, it says so-and-so won a particular stage but Froom is still well out in front. It's not as if he wins many of the stages at all but still...
Looks like Egan Bernal is going to win at the age of 22. Nobody will ever know how yesterday’s stage would have panned out if the stage wasn’t cut short, but Bernal looked the strongest climber Julian Alaphilippe has been great entertainment, but a very lucky man to still be on the podium. ...
It started today with a TT in Denmark. Reckon Pogacar will yet again be the man to beat but Roglic and his team co leader, Vingegaard, will also fancy their chances Can’t see Ineos challenging those guys but hopefully Thomas and Yates put up a good fight
Not something I usually bother with but I just watched some of it and it's quite addictive. Watched the qualifying for the mens, not sure quite what distance it was but the Dutch look so much better than everybody else. It's the women's scratch race on now, 40 laps and a mad sprint at the end of it.
http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_5560132,00.html watched his last fight(might have been the final days of Setanta) and all the pundits were taking of what a great prospect this young lad was, he just needed the media exposure that others had received to crack the big time. ...
Anyone ever done one of these, im thinking of doing my first in june but dont really know what to expect. Hopefully going to raise some cash for chas at the same time

Anyone else planning on watching this season? Two of my fav fighters as coaches and they're going to be going at it all season. First episode was very good and a well deserved victory for Team TJ.
Anyone know were I can see this for the other half's sister
After a favour if anyone can help. I work away most of the summer and still need 2 rounds to retain my handicap. Is any netter free at any time on Tuesday or Wednesday so I can get another card in?
Bit of a long shot but due to working away from home a lot I need to play another supplementary score to keep my handicap. The only day that I can manage is Tuesday 4th October and was wondering if anyone on here was a member at Turnhouse and fancied a game and marking my card? Paul
Two day open 29/30 June. Prizes include a car for a hole in one on the Sunday! See the website uf you're interested.
There's nobody likes the game of golf more than me but something really needs to be done about the ridiculous slow pace of play on both the PGA and European tours. TV coverage is almost at the stage where the sport is unwatchable because of the painful amount of time the players take before...
Fantastic version of the game. :agree: Just watching Australia v Pakistan in the World Cup. Pakistan need 15 from 15 balls. Mon the Pakistan.
Anyone watch this? I am currently watching NZ v Australia. It's pretty entertaining, would defo recommend for someone that has never really watched cricket and still thinks of it as boring and complicated. It's an easy way to get into cricket for the uninitiated...:agree: NZ are currently...
Had the proverbial nosebleed and misfortune having to drive through Gorgie tonight and it was obvious that a particular flag was missing from the windows of the afore mentioned pub considering the current six nations rugby about to start - and no it wasn't the English one! Coincidence?
Just going radge in ring after deontay wilder k.o'd his brave opponent who was stretchered out of the ring. classy stuff tyson
