Just bought tickets for Orlando City V Atlanta in July, has anyone been? Any tips, parking, dinner there etc?
Disappointed to only see two Scots in the squad. You're never going to please everyone of course and there are some English players who will be feeling rightly aggrieved (Launchbury being the obvious one) but surely there's a case to be made for more of our guys going? Russell, the Grays and Watson...
I know O'Brien's a great trainer and all that, but for me Caravaggio was the most impressive 2 year old last season, and at Royal Ascot, as far as I'm concerned, he was staying on well to come from a bad draw and win going away. But O'Brien seems to think he won't stay, and has Churchill as his...
Just watched a bit of the 40 years celebration programme on the telly. Steven Henry facially reminds me so much of Goodwillie - in an annoying kinda way. Jimmy White and Ken Doherty get wild cards for 2 years. Wouldn't it be brilliant to see Jimmy Hibsit :greengrin
What's everyones thoughts on Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko tonight I'm going Anthony Joshua to win in the 8th round Has anyone got a link to an HD feed for this? Cheers
What a remarkable horse Menorah is, the only ever winner of that race, winning it for the 4th time today and then an honourable retirement.
Great race to watch this, Robbie Power seems to be riding out of his skin at the moment cos Sizing John had to work really hard to beat Djackadam and Coneygree. I thought Coneygree ran a great race, considering that's just his 3rd race since he won the Gold Cup himslef in 2015.
Another hero for me e/w, 20/1 with bet 365
Anyone else planning on watching this season? Two of my fav fighters as coaches and they're going to be going at it all season. First episode was very good and a well deserved victory for Team TJ.
Masters week. Who are we on?
Ucello conti for me, i bet the aintree winner one for arthur so going for the double, the trainer Elliot has had a brilliant season so far, 20/1 with bet 365. Monday 17th april the race is
And already the favourite's been taken out. Still a relatively young horse I suppose.
Anybody any idea how the fund raising is going for a statue of him going? Should not have to be fundraising anyway the council should be paying for it anyway
With the jumps season just about to come alive I thought it about time to start the annual Cheltenham build up thread. Just watched Thistlecrack make a very decent start over fences winning easily on the bridle at Chepstow. Third Intention won the Old Roan on Saturday past whilst Sire De Grugy...
The first Major of the year starts at midnight on Monday UK time. Sir Andy Murray begins his first Grand Slam tournament as world number one and he plays Ilya Marchenko in round one. Unfortunately for UK viewers the match will be starting about 4am. Roger Federer will be making his long...
Who wins?
After day one, the teams were level at 1-1. The doubles match is currently one set all and 5-5 in the third set. No Andy Murray or Milos Raonic involved in this tie so it's very much a second string for both sides. The winner plays France in the quarter finals.
Anyone watching it? Jayson Shaw from Scotland is on sky sports 4 now, down 4-2 at the moment.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/38904731 300 not out in 12 overs - that's 25 an over, averaging more than 4 runs every ball. I'm not sure what level exactly he was playing at, but holy smoke! It's cricket, Jim, but not as we know it. :faf:
Had the proverbial nosebleed and misfortune having to drive through Gorgie tonight and it was obvious that a particular flag was missing from the windows of the afore mentioned pub considering the current six nations rugby about to start - and no it wasn't the English one! Coincidence?
They need to win to make the Quarter Finals. Even a bonus point loss is good enough, I think. They're winning 31-0 after 36 minutes, scoring four tries. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/rugby-union/38613601
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/38674183 Do you think Howard had a bet on? Or just being a smartass? Or both?
What a performance from 16 yo Justin Van Tergouw beating 14 yo Nathan Girvan (from Scotland) in the final. Van Tergouw ended up with a higher average than anyone in round 2 of the mens tournament so far.
http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/38524526 I see the BBC have decided to adopt the full title. Nauseating.
Just catching up with this now and I know I need to be careful with what I say but am I right that British Cycling isn't covering itself in glory just now? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/38535591 Bradley Wiggins got something brought over from the UK at a cost that could have been...
World darts championship starts tonight. Anderson playing a lad called Frost. I love his nickname - Frosty the Throwman
Gary Anderson what a darts player, into the final again, heard he is a hibs fan, anybody confirm?
Short answer, of course, is Mumbai in just over a week. But who plays, in what order? And who is (allegedly) organising and coaching these players? Hameed apparently is coming home for surgery to have a plate inserted in his hand. Ballance and Duckett apparently are now "unpickable". So...
Just won on his UFC debut and looked very impressive. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Starts tomorrow. I love a bit 9 ball pool
Thomas Bjorn just confirmed as European Ryder Cup Captain for 2018. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/38219036 Obvious choice!

Nico Rosberg has announced his retirement with immediate effect. Didn't see that one coming.
I like a game of darts, but I've always been reluctant to have a board up in the house because of the noise it makes when playing late at night and disturbing the neighbours. I see that you can buy stands for the boards to sit on so they're not on the wall. Has anyone used these and if so, what...
Background: Buy a car for £500 or less and drive it from Edinburgh to Rome in 11 days. It's been happening since 2005 I think. It's a sort of Top Gear thing before Top Gear did it! I'm much more handsome than any TG presenter. Oh yes I am. Has anyone done this or know someone who has? I'm...
Just looking for a bit of advice guys. I'm planning on purchasing a ticket for the Scotland vs Australia autumn test in two weeks as their is no football on that weekend. I've never been to Murrayfield since 2004 when I went to watch Scotland play Barbarians. Missed the Hibs vs Barcelona game in 08...
http://www.liveedinburghnews.co.uk/2016/11/20/video-mass-brawl-at-jam-house-mma-event/ "A major Edinburgh road was temporarily closed to traffic this evening after police were called to deal with “a massive fracas” at a city centre venue. Officers arrived at The Jam House in Queen Street at...
The last big tournament before the world championships. Some big names coming up tonight, apparently Anderson is going to be wearing glasses.
