  1. Our first goal

Who scored it? Watching the replay after it hits the bar it appears to deflect off Ambrose, then Boyle, then in. If I was Boyle I'd be claiming that. EDIT: I stand corrected, pitchside highlights on Hibs TV show that it probably didn't hit Boyle at all. :greengrin

  3. Atmosphere

Was bloody brilliant tonight! Serious limbs when the second and thirds went in and it was rocking at the start.

  7. Mallan & Allan

Do people still reckon we only have room for one of them after tonight? Thought Mallan played a proper CM role tonight and done it pretty well other than the goal. If McGinn goes and we went with a slightly more defensive minded player than McGinn as his replacement I think you could definitely get...

  10. Well done to the Scottish teams!

Our game might take a pasting from all and sundry, but what a great European outing our teams have had this week. Irrespective of how I feel about Celtc, Rangers or Aberdeen, to see our 4 teams all get good results this week has been a refreshing change. May it continue next week and all 4...

  11. The return leg

Surely we must go for the second half of today’s game approach? Going there and trying to defend our lead would be footballing suicide imo. I think we’ll score over there and that might just be enough to see us through.

  12. Best European performance since?

That's certainly the best I've ever seen - didn't go to the AEK game, but given we were out on the night back then I think this has to be the best since Videoton as a one off.

  13. Greek newspapers say........

Read this in Ekathemirini newspaper today concerning Greek teams in Europe: Asteras Tripolis is facing the might of Hibernian in Scotland this Thursday and at home next week, but if it goes through it will have a slightly easier task against the winner of the tie between Norway’s Molde and...

  14. Asteras fans

They seemed to bring even less supporters than NSI did two weeks ago! Only around 30 or so there. Looked like they were enjoying themselves though (for the first hour of the game). There were also a few Greeks around us in the home end. Suspect the majority of them live in Edinburgh.

  23. Neil Lennon = incredible job he has done & will continue to do at Easter Road

Current record as Hibs manager = P95 W50 (52.6%) D29 (30.6%) L16 (16.8%) Last season we recorded our highest top-flight points tally (67) of the modern era: statistically our club's best league season since 1975, when we finished above Jock Stein's Lisbon Lions! We secured 1 point more than...
