  2. Anyone remember a lad called Liam?

I traveled back down on the train last night with a lad called Liam i think he said his surname was gray? He was on hibs books a few years ago. He went to cowdenbeath, and now plays for gala fairydean. A nice lad, hibs supporter who was a season ticket holder. Hope he does well at the fairy's,...

  3. Lay off the fans

How can we seriously expect the fans performance to increase with the number of threads on here slating them all the time? How can that be good for the fans? Surely slating them all and calling them all sorts of bad names isn't going to help encourage them to be better people? As a wise man...

  4. Looky Likey?

Sir Has any of your members spotted the similarity between sometime 60s kids entertainer "Bingo" Banana, and Hibernian manager John "Yogi" Hughes? I think one is an amusing character who utters unintelligible sentences on TV, such as "take out the trash", and the other is a dog who wears...

  7. The perfect signing

What we are crying out for; a) some real pace in attacking positions b) some natural width, particularly on the new wider pitch which we're not using properly c) some passion, will to win and a likeable presence in the dressing room d) a player who can relate to the fans and stop the disenchantment....

  9. Back To Basics

Yesterday's performance was worse than last week, IMO. I think we need to stand back and identify where the team let us and themselves down. My biggest concern is our apparent lack of fitness which contributes to our play being slow and laboured. Even the passing was slow compared to Hamilton who...

  10. New Pitch, Great Stadium, Home Crowd

The new stand, wider pitch and brilliant playing surface were all meant to inspire Hibs and be to our advantage, but IMHO have done the opposite. IMHO both ICT and Hamilton raised their game, enjoyed the great pitch, extra width and responded to the poor home support. The longer Hughes goes without...

When Yogi gets the boot,i would give this guy the job.His teams are always organised, fit and play good football. We have to get away from ex players as managers and Petrie has to get the next appointment right as i feel we have not had a good manager since Mowbary.

  15. Massive game against Hamilton

It is obviously a huge game against Hamilton on Saturday as IMO if we lose we will be bottom of the league with 2-3 weeks. We are already 9th. A Hamilton win will put them above us. Either of the Saints would go above us no matter what the result between them is. So if we lose, we will be 11th....

  16. Tony Mowbray anyone ?

Even before yesterday's disappointment, it seems that we continue to stumble along with a style of play, and team selection/tactics that simply aren't working. 18. Are we going backwards?

I saw signs of improvement last week against Caley and I honestly thought we were unlucky not to win. Today was really poor. Apart from Bamba, Deek and Hart (in patches) I couldn't see the difference in quality between the two teams. In fact the Accies forward Hasselbank played really well....

  27. Not as good as we think or not as good as we should be?

Not as good as we actually should be? We have players such as Liam Miller & Derek Riordan who would walk into most other SPL teams. Kevin McBride is a decent player and worker. A crop of youngsters such as Hanlon, Galbraith, Wiotherspoon with others in the wings. Experienced campaigners...
